Hi Both, wt was your answer for Q8 and Q9 in ALPS 30 form. Q8 is What is your residential address? If you are not currently practising, or are not practising the profession predominantly at one address: • your residential address will be recognised as your principal place of practice. Q9. Is the address of your principal place of practice the same as your residential address? Can I put the answer of Q9 as the hospital address from which i have secured the offer ? or should keep my residential address as principle place of practice as I have not started to work there yet?

Hi, I have submitted all the necessary documents to AHPRA for limited registration last month, but they have not appointed the case officer yet. I confirmed that they have received the documents by calling them. What should I do further.

There’s no specific answer for this. The level of supervision is assessed and granted by AHPRA, and they will base it on your application. Usually they give level 2 supervision if you’ve had atleast 2-3 years of experience in your home country.

Usually less than a year, depends on how much of effort you put inyo applying, the need of the hospitals and also a bit of luck. Make sure to apply during the campaign periods.

Does that mean we have to be registered in our home country health base system ? I have not started working therefore I am not registered, is this going to be a problem during AHPRA registration ? anyone who has information on this, please help me to understand !
Yes you would need to be registered in your home country to have the COGS. You also need minimum 2 years of experience with more years giving you higher chances of securing a job offer.

How long did it take from getting a job offer to complete the registration process .
Depends on how quickly your employer arranges your papers but for us it took around 3 months.

HI. Did you have to prove your recency of practice by sending an employment letter from your previous employer alongside your ALPS-30 form?
Hi, no. We only included the documents necessary from the ALPS-30 form. But our hospital did request for this upon offerring the job.
Did you practice here in the philippines first before taking the AMC 1 or after taking the boards, you take the AMC right away?
Hi we practiced first for about a year after passing the boards :)

We did it online because we were overseas. Can’t remember how long but we reckon about 2 weeks to a month?
The certified true copy should be a coloured copy or a black & white one?

Hi, is there a difference between general registration and limited registration?
Yes limited means you only completed amc 1. Provisional if with amc 2. General if done with both exams plus 1 year experience in Aus.
