I will not be donating money to rich, wealthy people.
I have no intentions whatsoever to help the rich. I will only help my people period.
So when your ppl are the rich ppl, is your stance still the same
@@tasharena4204Yes!
H.O.I. companies have been leaving CA, LA. and FL. fir over 2 years and even if they have insurance, these wicked companies have high denial rates for bs reasons. There are so hundreds of national articles and stories on high denial claim rates, companies dropping customers for any reason, extremely high increases, etc. This is not new news. The millionaires shouldn't be asking for anything, however the middle class and actual low working class that were affected, i don't blame.
Right
Exactly they also want you to pay board members and when the time comes for them to pay, they don’t want to pay..
Never felt sorry for a person who owns a plane, yacht, mansion or hedge fund etc
Never!
I'm not sure if you've ever had to make a claim, but the insurance companies DO NOT want to pay. I had to file after a hurricane and they never paid out. My friend had to sue. Those folks also had their fire policies cancelled. Even with insurance, you have to pay a deductible. They aren't necessarily asking for anything from you and I. Their own friends and family are donating. You don't have to give, but there is nothing wrong with them asking.
Yes, I have had to make a claim yes and like I stated before yeah most of these insurance companies are nothing but a rip off soon as you file the claim they wanna drop you
You are 💯 right! The rich has no right to ask us bottom feeders to give. I feel like all they need to do is to bring awareness to the fires not set up GoFundMe's. They can claim that on their taxes. They could help so many ppl with their own money!
Insensitive or not, I don’t give a damn except for the black people who have been affected by the fires. That’s the type of time I’m on!
I live in Los Angeles and I haven’t heard of anyone in Los Angeles canceling their insurance. However, it’s a known fact that many people who lost their home in the fire were dropped by their insurance company last year without warning. Also, one of the fires was in an area called Altadena that has a large population of working to middle class Black families who lost their homes in the fire. I think somewhere between 60 to 80 Black families lost their home in the fire. Probably more. Many of them inherited their house from their parents. Generational Wealth. I know there have been GoFundMe pages set up for these families in Altadena. And in the wealthier areas they too were dropped by their insurance company last year. And since the fires some landlords have decided to price gouge. Welcome to Los Angeles!
Yes, actually ABC News actually had the segment on it talking about how some people actually canceled their insurance since they actually owned a home so that is correct. Thank you for your comment.
I’m from Altadena/ Pasadena area, grew up there all my life. I have over 15 friends who lost homes, so it’s way more than people think. I gave only to my friends and family members. The rich will just have to scale down. Working class May not have that option. 🙏🏽
Your a good person.
I feel for all of the victims yet I agree that the rich can start over they won’t have to face being homeless!
I’m already helping them it’s called federal taxes I pay a lot and so do you!
Unfortunately the Insurance Agents in the greater Los Angeles region dropped the Fire 🔥🚒 protection portions of their Insurance plan. That is the central issue.
I understand, but people should still always have insurance on their home and especially if they own it rich people thank you for your comment
@marthaharrisofficial the issue is insurance companies have decided not to offer coverages in these fire zones. The state of CA has an insurance if LAST resort but there are time limits you can use that for and the price is maybe 10-20x more than a regular insurance coverage.
Correction, it wasn't the Insurance Agents; it was the insurance companies that pulled out because they had been forewarned that eventually a fire would develop due to strong Santa Ana winds that they wouldn't be able to contain. The insurance companies are always considering risks.
The Insurance companies informed celebrities that Fire Insurance was cancelled 3 months ago!!!!
Anyone that has a house should have home insurance rich or poor
Exactly
The cali home insurance cancelled fire coverage in July 2024 siting "increased risk"
I say don’t contribute to those who can afford to rebuild.
Im minding my business
I'm on that train as well.
I concur me also.@@EJWash57
Lots of insurance companies stopped underwriting policies for California over the last couple of years, so the insurance companies are also to blame here for not stepping up and putting their profits over the people in the state. Some of the people can rebuild, but many have owned their homes in the wealthy areas for a generation or two and might be on a fixed income and will need help, possibly mostly from family. There is also a degree of assumed risk if you continue to live in a wildfire area, but its a risk that many people accept, just like drivers who decide to drive--they assume the risk for themselves and their families to get in an accident each time they get in a car.
Yes, everyone seems to be not using common sense all around
Money - Absolutely NOT
Supplies- YES
Thank you for your comment
Most of these folks insurance companies canceled on them. It started in June and throughout the summer. Coincidentally six months later, a firestorm arrives! Hmmmm!🤔 also it's not the rich that is asking for go fund me, it's the regular everyday hardworking folks, like the people who live in Altadena, and certain non wealthy folks who happen to live in Pasadena. A lot of these people have been living in these areas for 30 to 50 years or so, but they found a way to keep hanging on, considering the high cost of living in these areas, but thanx to our idiot corrupt politicians and rigged elections, for making rebuilding pretty much impossible for most of these people.
I mean, I get it that’s everywhere. These insurance companies are nothing but a rip off. Soon as you file a claim, they cancel you that should be illegal.
I’m not talking about the poor. I’m talking about the rich thank you for your comment.
I’m not talking about the poor I’m talking about the rich. I am a homeowner and I know how the insurance companies work. Thank you for your comment.
@@marthaharrisofficial You're Welcome! I like your channel and just subscribed!❤️🙏
I hear you sista! But how does one know who is rich and who isn’t? Best thing to do is help who you know, trust who you don’t know and but verify! I’m a 67 year young back man, I’m a native of Altadena, grew up there all my life but live in Charlotte now… The insurance game is a scam and a cash cow for their shareholders. Maybe Elon Musk can help? He gave $240 million to Trump, that’s equivalent to $35 dollars to him. How many unfortunate home owners do you think that could help? 🤷🏽♂️ What a damn shame!
I heard that they had insurance(U can do further research), and about 2-3 weeks before this incident their insurance companies dropped them (1000's) without notice! That's the story and it is circulating around social media and on some main stream news outlets.
That’s a problem getting your news from social media start fact, checking and thank you for watching
I don't have a penny for the rich.
I second that ! Not a cent !
Give African Americans reparations first and then they can decide if they want to help.
🤣🤣🤣 a mess
I second that , I need them reparations! 2025
There is a lesson here let them learn from this …We should not 😮
How many of the rich in California helped the people in North Carolina and Florida Hurricane victims who are homeless in the cold. Give to the Needy, not to the Greedy.
Lot of those people are perpetrating a fraud like they rich but is not rich
Perpetrating a fraud runs rampant in Los Angeles. Many people want people to think they have money but are living paycheck to paycheck like most people in this country.
Help with prayers. Same thing I do when I'm without or in need. I pray. Should they ask? Well, that's a matter of integrity or maybe even need. I feel like this is a lesson for a lot of people in the world. A lesson of humility. When The Most High delivers His will we ain't supposed to intervene. I feel badly for people whether they are rich or not but that part of me that sees a lot of these people spending their money and not helping people when they can really doesn't GAF about what they are asking for at this time. Some of them. Not all of them.
Good point. Perhaps some mentalities are accustomed to using other’s people money so it’s a knee jerk reaction likely. I believe that being rich is good. But rich or poor, some people are used to using other peoples money so we all have to beware. They also have a right to ask for help and we can decide to help or not help.
Some of these people have multiple homes their rich sounds like greed to me how about helping the homeless!🤣🤣🤣🤣
If they don’t have the money, then they can network with “other” wealthy people, and leave us out of it!
No, it doesn't sound insensitive. I agree with you.
My car is a 2008 cobalt 17 yrs old I still keep full coverage on it so at least can get something even if it’s $200 or $3000 in damages
On your question should we help others in need that really need help from a biblical stand point the answer is YES. We are not to judge a person's actions and we are suppose to rely on our faith and not our own understandings. So what God commands us to do is rely on the holy spirit and give according to what the holy spirit directs. God will guide us to help those that are TRULY in need and not the ones that are greedful.
We're now in the age of Cyber Panhandling. We've one-upped the Nigerian Prince scam.
Ha ha
If there are people/families that by the numbers on paper (taxes/tax forms pay stubs bank account statements) are considered wealthy, NO. As you mentioned, they can rebuild if they had insurance but even if they didn’t, they can manage it start over. From what I understand, the area where this disaster took place was (known to not offer homeowners insurance) because of previous fires over the years. Like the insurance companies saw parts of that region as a big risk. Someone people may have let their insurance lapse some (the working class, most in Palisades I think) probably couldn’t get homeowners insurance for the same reasons
NOT! Just pray!
Some of those so-called "rich" people fled and left ALL their CASH money in that house that burned down. For some others, the home was just a weekend home on the beach.
Some of these people have more than one home. So I am sure they are living in that second home. Yes, they can. I'm so sorry for their lost.
Congressman Brad Sherman says the following at today's all LA County Fire update: 1) No, they should not. 2) They announced, in their daily fire update that the State is giving them, Grants $43,000 to start rebuilding their homes, plus other monies, State match with 2) FEMA grants for overall grand total of $97,000, 3) SBA Loans of $500,000; with delayed payment, As well the State SBA is giving businesses, $2 million plus, and 4% loan; these amounts could increase. For all LA County IRS delays tax filing to October 2025 at present. There is a big townhall for all residents affected tomorrow, Wednesday and they were provided with call in number and location, for those who can physically attend. Affected areas: Palisades , Eaton , Hurst , Kenneth , Sunset , Lidia, Woodley, Altadena, Pasadena, Sylmar, Encino, Brentwood, Santa Monica, Hollywood Hills, West Hills, Acton and parts of Ventura County. They should the 800 number for assistance, that is provided in the message alert to all residents.
So correct, but the rich are so far from reality they think everyone has it to donate like they have it! Have lived in the circle so long and no poor friends and family that don't have it been cut out long ago
There are people that need jobs as lawn care delivery drivers . grocery stores pharmacy jobs we all need one another. People pay taxes medical jobs hospital schools teachers. Not that many rich . Help them we all in this together together. The World is watching us . we are united. God bless California . Faith in God.❤
Thank you for your comment
I get your sentiment and agree help the working folks BUT the insurance companies cancelled fire coverage policies in july 2024. Stating "increased fire risk and devistating losses"
Its reported thatvState Farm Insurance dropped coverage months before. How many purchased fire insurance with a different insurance company or totally went without? 🤔
justme thinking outloud...
No one rich should ask other people to bail them out . Even if they didn’t know if they had insurance
It’s not wise not knowing.
Yes
All Lost is sad
Some of them got dropped and didn’t want to pay the higher premiums to get coverage from other carriers. I say let their friends with money contribute to their go fund me and we will contribute to the peoples who don’t have rich friends 🤷🏾♀️
No to answer your question.
Actually months ago the insurance companies sent out letters they would be canceling their fire insurance.
We will not give them a dime.
If that was the case, anyone would common sense, you would think that they would start looking and checking for other companies.
Well it has been said that State farm had a contract with LA on the home owners insurance and they cancelled everyone's insurance two weeks before these fires🤷🏾♀️
Yes, that’s what they do
Great one, Ma'am! (While you're looking fabulous!)
Reminds me of the situation when Oprah Winfrey and Dwayne Johnson asked people to contribute to the people who lost their homes in the Maui fires. I just can't see it...
If a fire comes through your house really the first person you call, should be the fire department! Ijs 😂 just kidding 🎉
They think more about their pets than real people. They will be alright.
Cali need to banned together & build , your right I feel the same way u feel ma
Honestly, the RICH & WEALTHY shouldn't ask and it should be ILLEGAL! They are the ones that profited and rely on regular Americans sympathy & compassion. We keep falling for it because they used to be someone we looked up to. This is why those that have a lot can keep getting over on those that don't have a lot. Perfect example, James Woods doin his ACTOR thing was boo hooing on camera and didn't lose his home, but I bet he dug deep inside for someone else he knew with the waterworks. As a black man whose ancestors suffered immensely with brutality by white people, I have NO SYMPATHY for celebrities or wealthy. They can either go to one of their other homes, while those regular folks that lost not only their homes, lives and vehicles have LITERALLY NOTHING! They don't have other domiciles or probably can't even afford a hotel and they definitely can't sleep in their cars! Earlier, I saw Yvette Nicole Brown & Jackee Harry capin for Karen Pan Africanista Bass saying that she's a black woman and why they goin after her. We gotta stop listening to these black faces in higher places, they aren't on our level anymore and don't have our worries of being able to afford food from week to week, let alone the poisoned food that they push on us. So much to say...Just be safe y'all and I'd help struggling Americans, rich & wealthy can kick rocks!
Amen!
Who are the wealthy people asking for money? I’ve been paying close attention to this tragedy, and I haven’t seen one wealthy person ask for help. I’ve seen some Black families, specifically from Altadena, set up Gofundme accounts. It’s well known that Altadena was basically a middle class area, and a large amount of the Black families in that area inherited their homes, so it makes sense that they may not have the liquid wealth to bounce back from this tragedy.
Thank you for your comment
Use this opportunity to educate rather than belittle folks. This condescending attitude was taught by massa and thrives through the modern day bougies...
Here we go with someone thinking somebody trying to be little someone. They’re always has to be one or two or three that always talking out the side of their neck if the channel is not for you, keep it moving. Thank you for the view.
I can't ask them for help with my rent, so no.
Tax write off if you own it outright
Thank you for sharing
Hell no,will they help us
🤣🤣🤣 right

Thank you for your comment
THE ? IS WHERE WERE THESE RICH. PEOPLE AT WHEN THET WAS WALKING & DRIVING BY THE HOMELESS IN THEIR LAMBORGHINI & C8 zo6 VETTES IM TALKING ABOUT THE ONES THAT OWN 5 & 10 homes
Don’t think that celebrities have money the dollar right now is worth about $.10 most of those actors haven’t been in any movies $20 million homes cost to keep up.
I’m on the West Coast, but not in California. I have a neighbor whose home is paid for and he refuses to buy Homeowners if your house is paid for you do not have to carry homeowners insurance….
The problem is, he doesn’t consider his neighbors. He’s very self-centered if his house burns. There are two houses right next to him that possibly might burn down. ..
Some people just think they don’t need it or some people just don’t have the money for it …
Many people think the insurance companies are just shysters …
Thank you for your comment
One acronym …FEMA
💯
Most of them are not rich.
Great thank you
Some dummy gonna donate to help those rich ppl ......
I don't think you are insensitive at all but I can't imagine that you feel some type of conflict. First things first, you are very pretty. You seem like a classic, with those old lady glasses. Lol Yet, your eyes are pretty. Know that some of them rich and less, have had some insurers drop them because of a myriad of reasons. Some could not afford it, the housed poor. Many of them black. I don't think the rich and famous need any help unless they were not rich, just lived the lifestyle, partially. That speaks of life decisions. The homes in many areas were so closely built together especially the less well to do. You will see that the landscape of rebuilt homes very differently. They will have so much more land and in other neighborhoods there will be possibly upper scaled apartments that old folks won't be able to afford. Those are the people who will need our help.
Thank you! Yes, I agree with you. I mean I’ve had insurance companies drop me after someone actually broke into my home and stole all my stuff when I made a claim so I get it. I understand it. Something needs to be done about these companies doing just these type of things when people have put their money into premiums and then all of a sudden they just drop you like it’s nothing so that’s a national disaster right there.
Sadly, Los Angeles had blocks and blocks of homeless people and there was never a major national outcry to help them. Yahshua Ha Mashiach said, "Whatsoever you do to the least of my brethren, that you do unto me." So if no one cared about the least of his brethren why should we care about them?!!! You reap what you sow.
Thank you for your comment
TBH the Perfect storm of lack of rain, 100 mph winds, and the decisions of a couple who owned 60% of the water, suggests this was Yah's will. 2 days before the firestorms, at one of the award shows, Hollywood joked that NO ONE thanked God for their success. The black part of LA although close, was untouched
Lol you tell people to get off these platforms but you still using it
I see you one of the ones that still don’t get it. Thank you for watching.
First the sex parties exposures. Now the fires...
God don't like Ugly and cares very little for Pretty.
A Preview of Hell to come.
🤔 Perhaps Folk need to get Correct! 😐😳😎
Rich folk don't need the assistance from poor, common folk. Get your check books. Get collective, stay strong, go after them and rebuild.
Yall was hit by a Planned Event.
Hell no they shouldn't receive help from common folks! .. Question is: do they help you all who hardly have anything? .. The wealthy can team up and give to the poor, in which they have not! I believe God is making a shift.
Let the government help the rich people
POOR MOUTH ULTRA RICH PEOPLE 🫤
Does make you feel some kinda way. When the average person will never know the economic luxury they do.
