"I drove through there once" is actually our state motto here in Connecticut.
I have been through Connecticut at least 20 times in my life…I’ve stopped in Connecticut twice😂
Connecticut...the drive thru state

Link could have been a great doctor with that handwriting 😂
What kind of doctor would Dr. Neal be? 😂😂

I love how rhett had a marker but kept telling link what to write, and where, using the marker as a pointer.
I JUST NOW REALISED
😂
This made me laugh so hard, barely realizing that he was frantically gesturing with his marker the whole time 😂
He was even holding it too. Lol
I don't know why, but having Rhett and Link just casually try to do trivia is extremely entertaining. I'd love more Mores like this
partially because they get SO into it
Please have them play trivia!!
I love the casual random scribbles on the states.
I KNOW EVERY STATE CAPITAL. Talk about useless trivia
It's much more entertaining and funnier than I expected. Though I have to admit I'm quite red-faced, re my inability to remember LOTS of state capitals, which I learned well 55ish years ago in the 5th grade...
But their cluelessness of MANY of the STATES when looking at a map with all their borders -- that's kind of amazing to me.
I love that for practically every state, Rhett either, drove through there, ate something there or spent the night there. 😂
Spent the night in a hotel, specifically.
He's a man on the move
Except South Dakota. "No one's ever been there" lol
As a Kansas native, I love how Link didn’t know where Kansas was but knew Topeka right away.😂😂
Rhett’s crazy eyes whenever he guesses so confidently wrong
“It’s a burg?” (Rhett and Link in unison)
😂😂😂
Smartburg 😂
It's got the 🔔!!!
any moments when they accidentally talk in unison are the BEST
Plenty of pennsylvanians forget about Harrisburg, too. Central PA is a breadbasket of amish county and forest.
@@JaySay Truth and I live here. Haha
"Hannah, Montana" was a missed opportunity
I love how they forgot Wisconsin & thought it was a lake but immediately knew the capital😂
Right 😂 i was lowkey offended but Link said Madison was beautiful so I more than forgive them❤
I feel like they knew them from college football 😂
@Evelyn-vh1ex our lakes aren't as beautiful right now with all the alge
I kept whispering Wisconsin to the screen like i was there lol
Yeah that had me rolling. Also all it took for them to remember Wisco was the word "Cheese" lmao.
This was 187% more entertaining than I expected. Although, with them, I know to expect anything 😂
Fr. My favorite now 😂
Hey I am from Frankfort, Ky we are just fine as the capital
“It’s one of the first thirteen colonies probably” - New Hampshire’s state motto
I knew Frankfurt, Kentucky the same way Link knew Montpellier, Vermont. Just 1 lonely synapse waiting 35 years to fire.
Frankfurt is in Germany. Frankfort is in Kentucky.
it's Frankfort
^^These two guys are from Frahnkfert.^^
@@russelllukenbill the only 2 people that live in frankfort are pissed rn
Why are y’all so pressed, it’s just a funny comment lol
Absolutely hilarious more and the ending with Link randomly knowing the capital of Vermont was gold.
That was impressive!
31:10 😂 when you are so exhausted and have no idea how you know things it scares you
Cherry on top of a great episode lol 😂
As someone *from* Montpelier, VT, I was saving this episode because I KNEW that they were gonna struggle with Vermont -- everybodyyyy does. 🙃 But to have it be the very LAST state that they tackled was a treat I did not expect! 😂
Haha I knew it, all the vermonters I know would be thrilled to have been forgotten
as avermonter who lives in Manchester but is in college in Burlington. We are the unknown state aka Canada
Hi, neighbor!! Also a Montpelierite!
@@allyklayr Hi! So fun to find each other here! 😆
I still remember it from middle school, because of the VerMONT MONTpelier mnemonic I used.
I'm just... impressed? at the random bits of knowledge Link seems to have stored away in his brain. Didn't think he'd be better at geography than Rhett
Except he thought Lincoln was born in Illinois.
@@ninjaspike5492 what?
@@jross4622i think at least….as the president is born jn kentucky
He wasnt better tho lol Rhett answered a lot.
What? He barely expressed any knowledge at all
As a Marylander, hearing link scream “Maryland”at Rhett made me cry laughing 😂
Maryland gang 🎉🎉
"What's that state"
"MARYLAND"
27:38
When people ask me where I'm from I will now say "MARYLAND" 😂
hello fellow marylanders
@@markipliertrash1562yeahhhhhh
I don’t think Ive ever laughed as hard as I did when rhett said “Judy Washington!”
As a Canadian, I appreciate the random guesses of Saskatchewan and other Canadian spots from Rhett
He said Sketchewan 😂 10:26
he said Ottawa too ;P
Ottawashington!
They should definitely do a guess the capitals in Canada one
I was surprised at the blurring of saskatchewan. Definitely not the most known part!
And I love the idea of them doing canadian capitals with the separate maps to compete!
As a Floridian I absolutely love being almost entirely forgotten despite being so prominent on the map.
I actually thought it's a bit. But nope they almost completely forgot it. 😂
As a fellow Floridian, I wish people would forget we were down there
@@nathanwolfe7069 We try.

Ok but really. Why is Florida so... y'know...

I rewound it so many times 😂😂
Lmao!!

LINK KNOWING MONTPELIER AFTER ALL THAT STRUGGLE IS MAGICAL
The confusion after the applause followed by the realization that he got it right, then back to confusion as to how he knew it. So many Link emotions in like 3 seconds
Link insisting that Indiana was Idaho multiple times even after they told him it wasn’t Idaho was hilarious
as someone from Indiana it made me laugh so hard that they wanted us to be something else other than indiana.. can confirm theres nothing here LMAO
@@killerk2993 …..corn?
@@redratter there’s more than corn in Indiannaaaa
I’m from Idaho and thought that was hilarious as well, especially considering when they did Idaho they knew the capitol immediately
@@redratterthat's most of the midwest 🤣
As a Ohioan watching link misplace Ohio not once but twice was so funny 😂
Should I be upset that Link thought Dayton was more important than Cincy, should I be flattered that Rhett guessed Cincinnati before they guessed Cleveland, or should I be upset that they didn't immediately know it was Columbus?
@@pokemon05100 honestly I though they would get it instantly I thought Ohio was like one of the known capitals
Living in KY, that seems so crazy, but then I try to rapidly identify all the sates in the New England area by sight, and OOPS!
OMG this is my kind of episode right here!!!! Petition for Rhett and Link to be tested on more geography!!!!
They could do this once a year and it would take a decade before they'd get noticeably better.
Link's own confusion at Vermont is absolute gold
Then casually nails the capital
To be fair, though, we were ALL amazed that he knew that random tidbit of information since he once said a panda gummy didn't look like a bear.
30:04 THE WAY IT WENT FROM GIGGLY TO QUIET WITH A COUPLE OF “oh”s 💀💀💀
This was so painful to watch but I laughed SO hard the entire time 😂
They did better than the average human I knew like maybe four, I forgot New Mexico was even a state
@@deelee5958 but for the average US citizen it is definitely more. It is drilled into us in elementary school. Much more than knowing capitals of any other country XD
I agree it was painful, but I cringed more than laughed.

Watching them try to guess Olympia was the funniest thing I have ever seen 😂
and i’m shocked link knows tacoma exists
I was thinking the same about Tacoma lol
Absolutely amusing to no end xD
no its when link followed tacoma with drugs LOL
I enjoyed this so much haha
Also I loved the shock on Rhett and Link's faces when they learned that Lexington and Louisville are not the only cities in Kentucky.
To be fair, Frankfort is only the capital because it's in-between those two cities. Not because it's a prominent city of it's own. Lol
I come back to this vid at least once every couple months to enjoy the laughs all over again and brush up on my geography
As a new Mexican I can confirm that our state capital is “SantaDomingo”
😂😂😂
I approve of this message! Red or green Chile. I'm a Christmas kind of guy
I thought it was Salad
Not sexy new mexy?
Sorry, I’m from NM and it’s Sexy New Mexy ❤
Watching Link misidentify Indiana multiple times was hilarious. "This is Ohio" "No" "This is Idaho" "No" 😂
And then put the ab. as ID and not IN
Okay but can we appreciate Rhett’s pronunciation of Louisville? 👏🏻
Well, they're Southern. :) We had a guy who quit his job and his only explanation was to shake his head a lot and say "I gotta get to Louisville." Then he left. :)
16:30 for anyone looking
Top notch pronunciation 👍
Twas Perfect 👌
@@pinespuzzler3252WTF nothing special
“Everyone thinks we’re a lake” should be the new motto for Wisconsin 😂
As a Wisconsinite, I can confirm that we are indeed one giant lake.
As A Minnesotan, that’s how we see y’all 😂
with cheese.
i was DYING laughing at that part
But the lake is just beer
As a Michigander your just cheese we’ve got enough lakes
I love that Link just knew the abbreviations for the states 😂
Yeah he got almost all right. Nebraska is NE though. NB is in Canada I think.
also connecticut is CT not CN
And another thing most of us (that are over, say, 50) knew from childhood, when sending letters, etc. by USPS was common.
I love this format where R&L guess common knowledge things, they can make anything so entertaining to watch
I love that Rhett was so surprised neither Lexington or Louisville was the capital of Kentucky… as someone who lives here, I agree haha
As someone who lives in central KY, I second this. Frankforts just a lil hole in the ground.
@@tacklebox5374 as someone who lives in Frankfort, I agree 😂
I’m from Pike County at the very very east end, I agree, too
Being from Cincinnati, I was certain Louisville was right.
I was more surprised that Cleveland and Cincinnati weren’t the capital of Ohio. It was instead Columbus.
It was surprisingly anticlimactic when Link realised they had forgotten about Florida. I was staring at it the whole time that they were stuck on New England and fronting about Delaware being Maryland 😂
I’d love to see this format but they try to guess the State by the flag
Yes! Fun fact Oregon is the only two sided state flag!
As an Ohioan, I was shocked that the first city to come to mind for Link was Dayton
Must’ve been to a party or two in Dayton lol
They're obviously not into college football.
I think he was guessing Dayton based on the general location of the dot, but it surprised me, too!
Dayton is the only city I know in Ohio, I already forgot the other ones they talked about. Dayton, Ohio has a ring to it. It is memorable phrasing.
as a daytonian, it surprised me too
Great job on Rhett's pronunciation of Louisville for KY when he was guessing!
Link using the right French pronunciation of "Montpelier" made my day!
as a representative from Vermont, I'd like to officially give Montpelier to Link.
I work for Orkin Vermont, Montpelier has way too many rats to give to him 😂😭
@@maeghanwrobel177 hahaha fair enough
Watching them struggle with the Oregon capital makes me happy cause I also think it’s funny that Salem is our capital. It always seems that the state capitals are the least relevant city to that state.
This!
Link clutching at the end with Montpelier, Vermont was an amazing moment😂
This video should be titled, "How many states can we upset?" 😂
I'll never forget when they flamed my homestate of Utah for several minutes on their Halloween candy episode. 😭

I love how Rhett remembers everything by what he's eaten or when he stayed in a hotel 🤣
After almost not even getting VT for awhile I was so surprised link got Montpelier right😂
Rhett's face was like 😲
I like this because i can sit back and judge people for not knowing things that i also do not know in order to feel superior.
The utter silence when they got to Wisconsin made me sure they wouldn’t get Madison, but they got it instantly, lol. This episode was hilarious, y’all should definitely do more of these!

It's actually driving me nuts!
I can’t believe at one time I had all these memorized! I feel like if I was given the capital I could match it with the state 😂 but Rhett and Link had me so confused! Gotta be one of my favorite episodes ever ❤
I won a Freshman geography game knowing all the capitols in my class. The prize... No homework for one week!
Coochie, Ohio had me rolling i stg
im still crying at it 😂😂😂 i keep rewatching it
I just love the fact when they get to the eastern states, Rhett tells us fun facts of food he's had in each state😂
Watching this as a native New Englander was hilarious 😂 “ppl come through every couple of days” 😂😂😂
why do i feel like they took an edible before they recorded this 😂😂😂 they were absolutely HILARIOUS in this .. i cannot 😂
I’m not American but this was very entertaining! I have never heard of most of those cities and the ones I have heard of are from movies and tv shows, it’s interesting to see what Americans think about the geography of their own country though
States and capitals were something I had to memorize in 5th grade (approximately 10-11 years old) and then it never came up again 🙃 I am confident on all the states but the capitals are pretty fuzzy at this point in young adulthood lol
In Canada we have like 15 provinces / territory and I don’t know half the capital of them …
We all had em memorized in school including myself. I barley knew half of them lol
As an American I don't know most of the capitals. Know most of the states mainly since I've visited 30 of them. But yeah America is huge considering many states the sizes of some countries in Europe.
@@k49821 Most Americans do memorize the states and capitals at that age. Then we all forget. But in 9th grade we start learning advance Government Studies/Civics Class and it seems that most kids weren't taught or learned anything. Especially now days.

They have to do this with a map of Europe
Let's start with Australia first, be kind!
It would be a 4 hour episode and they would get half way through. I don't think they could pronounce most of it.
That may take up the entirety of a 24 hour live stream😂

Link coming in clutch at the end when they couldn't even remember the last state was absolutely amazing
I'm a little shocked at how bad they were at this, but then again, I was like really into geography quizzes as a kid. Also Dild, Delaware had tears streaming down my face.
I'm surprised they didn't guess Dild, O hio... rofl
When he apologized to the northwest all I could think was that they're just gonna give up when it comes to the northeast. Too many tiny states up here.
As a person that lives in New Hampshire... Same
I haven't laughed this hard in a while. Thank you for this, I didn't know I needed it. 😁 I would NOT have gotten all the capitals, even with the hints!

It's okay Rhett, this KY native is just happy you know how to pronounce Louisville. 😊

Reminds me of Jensen Ackles saying how Jared Padalecki always says that Reno is the capital of Nevada when they play the Capitals game. When in fact it’s Carson City.

This gives OG GMM vibes. Glad to see it’s getting solid views.
As a Michigander, I'm proud of Link for knowing it's Lansing.
When I was little I loved to play school with my grandfather, and they had a puzzle map of the US with all the state capitols, so that’s the lesson that was taught every “school session”. I learned them all by the time I was 5, and this episode proves that I still remember them all at 35. My grandfather would be so proud, although I feel this is really my only flex in life. 😂
It's a righteous flex 💯😉
