99% of gamers don't read.
I mean it also applies a really massive slow on the enemies so if you plan on hard engaging throwing it down to make sure the enemies can't get away after you awaken is a good idea

If you play against him you'll notice it
you can definetly do more with thor. theres probably a better overwatch term for it but his shift kinda half stuns or grabs the enemy, and also his passive is after using a hammer ability if you mele someone it recharges that hammer. so you can basicaly spam charge into people hit them a couple times then charge again over and over and then when your in a group do the buble thing and the lightning mode. i really hope they lower or remove the cooldown tho cause you need to hit 2 or 3 times between charges

His kit is supposed to revolve around using his dash to go in and single off targets since it gives u shields and is on such a low cool down.
Yeah and his hammer throw should be cycled with every melee cause of the overbundance of shield it provides. (It also has a low cooldown)

@@whoisjoe5610 his right click is a kill confirm or a burst damage in melee range
If you use it while you're melee an enemy it deal instant 80 damage and also since you get melee right after your thor force is replenished instantly and you also get overhealth from using it and if you're melee-ing someone and they get away from you with low hp the right click can help secure the kill
1) I could see 3 tank lineups with Thor basically playing as a beefy DPS working.
2) Thor’s ult should let him choose where he lands similar t Azaan from Paladins
3) Thor’s melee left click should do a bit more damage. It’s kind of weak considering you have to be in melee range (I feel the same about Hulk).
Watching this guy whiff nearly every lightning bolt over and over is hurting me physically
Flats really seems like he hasn’t actually read Thor’s kit closely. Which is fine until he starts complaining that the hey is no good. Thor literally can spam a damaging move that gives him renewable shield health and boops the enemy with basically no cool down so long as he melees once in between casts. He can be basically immortal and just carry enemies back to his team for easy kills.
That global cooldown is dragging him down. within that almost 2 second window you end up dying with no support from shield tank or healers.
That is Mid asf considering he is supposed to be a "off" tank - a "offensive" tank. But you can punish him wayyyyy more easily than Venom and Hulk.
He needs to have separate cooldowns instead. They tried to make a hero that needs more skill I get it, but since everybody else is just stupidly OP, Thor ends up being mid asf.
From Plat Upwards, people just dance around Thor - especially that more people know how his kit works now. You might have had a fun time in GOLD below especially that people don't really read up on abilities.
@@ReyRey277 you might be right, but I’m not sure. The whole point of the global cooldown is that you’re supposed to throw a melee or two in there to keep your Thor force at max all the time. You charge in, melee, charge again, melee, etc., then maybe throw your hammer if your target is trying to escape. When you do it that way, you’re getting your shield health topped off literally every two seconds, doing solid DPS, booping enemies out of position, and you always have full Thor Force points to either get out or pop awakened mode. It’s not that hard to stay alive when you’re constantly getting shield health and displacing the enemy team.
Also “off” tank doesn’t mean “offensive.” It means you’re the supplemental (i.e., not “main”) tank, and you’re mostly supposed to be doing things other than holding the front line and only filling that function occasionally.
@@ReyRey277If he didn't have the global cooldown he'd be absolutely nuts broken busted, would wipe out enemies instantly and have way too much tanking capabilities.
People who think he's bad are just bad, simple as that, straight up. The only thing that really sucks is that his hitbox of dash is too thin, and his range on hammer swing is a bit too short.
Getting rid of his global cooldown would break him though.

I'm seeing some serious stupid as fuck people in these comments who legit can't actually understand what makes up a character.
Mauga damages, and does damage over time while self healing. He does it with a burn and DOES in fact need to get closer rather than further away.
Wolverine would damage, apply bleed over time, and self heal. And would get up in your face similar to Mauga. Do people really look at Mauga and go "DAAUUH HE DA CHARACTER DAT SHOOT LOT"
Though i do agree that Junker Queen is probably closer since he probably won't need constant attacking.

I've played mostly thor in the beta and I feel like the hammer throw almost feels useless, not much damage, can't use other abilities, uses thunder force, just for a single far range hit? I hope they add some weight to it and it can knock back enemies on hit since it's mjolnir, only able to be held by thor or those worthy
For people not in the know, Loki gets Echo's copy ability for his ult, but also gets instant ult the moment he copies them.

i wish flats could show to the world how good hulk really is.... like he did for thor..
Thor feels so bad to play here is why:
when you hit his dash on enemies that are flying from below it does absoutely nothing no dmg no knockback
when his dash touches the smallest terrain it completely stops
his dash can only hit/push/damage only 1 person
without his f he does 0 dmg
you cant cancel your f and to dash away or right click to get shield even if you could there is a 2 second window where you can't use your abilities
his ult can't do damage to airborne enemies

As much as people say Peni P is a trash tank, I think she is still leaps and bounds better than Thor.
The melee characters seem really underwhelming ngl
You don't know anything if you really believe that. One of the most broken abilities is Magnetos sword move, Magik is strong, spidey is strong etc...
Its cuz a majority of players playing melee hero's are terrible at the game currently and characters like Punisher are very simple. Also Flats is playing Thor like a dipshit.

When you actually play the game you realize they are broken and being melee is the only thing keeping them balanced
