The first time I saw Kenny in concert it was 20 years ago and my daughters 14th bday. Her bday wish was to see Kenny Chesney with her friends. I took 9 teens to the concert in Palm Beach,Fl. We had the cheap seats in the Lawn. One of the sponsors came to me and asked me “how many kids do have here”. I told them and they gave us front row seats for the concert! 20 years later those kids now adults and parents themselves….still remember to this day that night to be the best concert ever. Since then, I have been to every Kenny concert in Florida. And my kids, grandkids, family, friends and husband refer to Kenny as “my boyfriend “. lol. Kenny Chesney is the real thing and the best!

I'm 34 now and I still remember growing up a huge KC fan when I was just 9 years old riding home from the store to buy the "Everywhere We Go" album in 1999 and learning every word. Nothing like that long opening to "What I Need To Do" to start that record. First saw him live at the George Strait festival in Nashville a couple years later right before he blew up. Like he said in this video that's when he was still relatively unknown, so much so that he was doing a free meet and greet.

I went to the same high school as Kenny. Gibbs High School. I will never forget the day he visited our school. I was in elementary school and I'll never forget the response of one of the high school intern girls helping the teachers. The teachers asked her what was it like to see Kenny? 😅She just said "OMG all the girls took off their sweaty socks and threw them at him just to say they hit him with their socks. I wanted barf."😂 She said it with that typical valley girl accent that high school girls have. I about died laughing.😂
