hi!! this is a day in my life as a musical theatre student (aka “integrated”) at AMDA NY! I tried to give as much insight into what life at AMDA is all about, so hopefully some of you potential students will find this helpful! Omg thank you! I'm a sophomore in high school and AMDA is my dream school! Now its even MORE of a dream school because Its so good! All of the classes seem so interesting and New York seems like my pace. I am 900% applying!! I want this life!
So i read a blog via broadwayworld and they said that AMDA is a scam (SCAMDA) and has a bad reputation, and that the student body is toxic. Is this true??

@@ina.rl.shonestly just be yourself ! I got accepted to the LA campus starting in fall to study music theatre. The thing they liked about me was my personality and my willingness to listen to feedback so honestly just be yourself and you’ll get there !!

I watched this vlog a bit over one year ago when I got accepted into amda but wasn't able to get my student visa to go to the US due to corona, and now I'm watching it when I'm attending amda for my bfa in acting degree in one month

I’m a junior and I got into the LA campus for fall 2025! I’m thinking about doing two years in nyc and then two years in LA for by BFA for acting in tv and film!

Hey,so I got into AMDA for the integrated conservatory certificate program and I wanted to audition for BFA MT. Is there BFA MT in AMDA NYC? Also if you could tell me whatever I got into means that would be great. I’m a little confused. Thank you!! ☺️☺️
When I searched BFA MT in nyc it said that was only in LA
Hi!! sry i didn't see this sooner i've been so busy!! So the NYC campus only has the two year certificates program for musical theatre. After finishing those two years you can transfer to the LA campus to get your BFA or you could transfer to somewhere like NYU. You have lots of options!

Any suggestions for audition material ?
for college auditions I suggest picking rep that shows off your personality and that you feel good singing! Sometimes we wanna sing the hardest songs we know just to prove that we can sing them, but they would rather see us confident and ourselves!
