Here is episode one of the Fear Street tribute podcast! Stay tuned for the third part where you’ll hear my part. ua-cam.com/video/0K01YZVvOTQ/v-deo.html
I just discovered your channel tonight!! I went into my attic and pulled out all my goosebumps and fear street books all original first editions that were purchased in the 90s. I'm 39 now and you have inspired me to read them all over again. I wish I could upload a picture of my collection!!! Thanks so much for sharing this and making me feel like it's ok to be nostalgic over books ♥️
I just paid a shit ton for the original fear street saga book. Still had the family tree and the photo of the brunette in the front. It was discontinued, but I would love to restore it.
Fun fact: if you make a drinking game out of every instance Cameron says "This is one of my favorite covers" you will die of alcohol poisoning. 😂 Definitely see why though! This style of cover is just instant nostalgia.
Yeah og horror covers are the best, modern covers are either generic or really dumb looking. There's an entire video on UA-cam talking about how great the old covers were
LOVELY! I used to have so many of the Fear St books as a kid but got rid of them when I was older. I regret it so much! Your collection is so lovely, neat & clean. LOVE LOVE LOVE
As always - this cat finds you knowledge on these books so very, very fascinating! You are a human who knows his trade and knows it well. It is a pleasure to watch your videos and even though this cat seldom comments he sees all your videos. It is a pleasure to be one of your patrons and by my very fur I believe more humans (and cats) should choose to support you! It is deserved! You are an excellent biped! Teeth and Mists
Halloween Party is one of my favorites as well! I think it was the first book I ever read that featured a deaf protagonist! So many awesome covers 😍 This takes me back to the summers I spent in the library where my mom worked, I devoured these books ~Laura
Thank you! Yep, there are so many rare ones toward the end of the 90s. They just weren’t selling as well since people moved onto Harry Potter, so not as many were printed.
Out of the ones you showed, not counting the newest ones, I think I had all but about 5 or 6 books total. I had a lot and I don't even know where I got them nor what happened to them. You showing off your books is making me want to search around for them and build up my collection again. Thanks for the rundown on the orders because I just read them randomly, besides the ones that actually went together. You're truly inspiring me, now! Watched all the Netflix movies with my fiance, who never read R.L. Stine and he even enjoyed the movies and learning about the storyline.
I'm crushing. I've read the majority of those from 1991-1994. I don't have any of them anymore. I wish that I had saved my book so badly! R.L. Stine is smart. I loved those books! They provided hours of entertainment.❤
Won't lie. I've been waiting for this. I've been collecting and reading RL Stein and Christopher Pike for a little while now, and I have about twenty books of theirs. And I want to get more, but they are very expensive.
They can be very expensive, but they definitely don’t have to be. I’ve found many for just a couple dollars. Don’t let those ebay sellers fool you, they can be pretty greedy. Haha
Third comment- I'm early for once!. This is a fantastic collection of Fear Street books as well as YA horror Cam!. 📚👻☠🎃 I loved Bad Dreams as well as Silent Night back in 1991. Oooh the nostalgia!. 😍
Soooo jealous of your gorgeous collection! Feeling major nostalgia for the 90s and wish I'd held onto my books because I'm spending a small fortune now trying to get my hands on these books again :)
This is one of your best videos yet, which is saying a lot. Great job! Watching your love of the Fear Street cover art, which I share, made me wish for a "Paperbacks from Hell" focusing exclusively on YA horror.
This is my favorite video. I've been watching it again and again ang again... You're lucky. You almost have all the Fear Street Books. I'm collecting it too. 😊😊😊. I won't get tired of watching this video. ❤❤❤
@@LibraryMacabre You're awesome Sir!!! I won't get tired watching your video. I can't wait to watch your video once you complete your Fear Street Collection. ❤❤❤ I'll be waiting sir😊
I’m glad I’ve kept pretty much all my stuff from my childhood, but even then there’s so much I missed back then. I wish I had bought even more Goosebumps merch back then, but I was at the mercy of my parents’ wallets 😂
@@LibraryMacabre he came back yesterday and I worried for a whole week for nothing 😂 he is okay and thank you for your kind words it means a lot to me. :)
I loved this video! 🥳 I just started re reading my fear street books, this video got me super hyped 😂 Thank you for sharing your wonderful collection! 🙌
I remember going to Barnes and Noble with my mom and her saying I could pick two books whenever we went. I’ll be 41 next month and I’m still an avid reader. Trying to get oldest into reading has been a challenge
Seriously Cameron I click like before you even get into it. LOL! These are always so fun. Also, I always spy other things on your shelf and the 80's child in me geeked out at the Judy Blume titles on your shelf! Confession - I've never read a Fear Street book but I think I'd like to do that this summer.
Judy Blume is the best! 🤩 Thank you, Jen!! I hope you enjoy your first Fear Street books. Now is a good time to read them since the Netflix movies are on the way this summer. :)
@@LibraryMacabre I purchased The Beginning yesterday to add it into my TBR but man, I wish I could find these older covers. Will have to keep my eyes open for them.
Very nice collection!! Love Fear Street been into it since I was 12. I only need 11 more books to round out the original series. Most of mine are used copies from Amazon, Half Price Books and the Barnes & Noble marketplace. I think all but 3 in my collection are first editions. Aside from that you have a sweet setup of YA horror...can't wait for more tours!
I had the Fear Street Midnight Diary (the journal/diary book that was spiral bound I think) and I miss it more than words can describe. It’s practically impossible to get now! Thanks for sharing this!
Great video as always. I have a few Ghosts of Fear Street books, so I'm looking forward to your upcoming video showing those off! I'd love to collect those 3 Fear Park books one day. The covers 🔥
@@LibraryMacabre I'll be on the lookout! There are plenty of other random books that I want to collect in addition to those too. It's overwhelming in a way, haha! So many wonderful things out there that I'd love to own 🤩
I am waiting for this!!! I am huge Fear Street collector too Im in the UK but originally from the Philippines.. so hard to find here in the UK and some covers are diferrent ( UK editions) which are so ugly . I have lots of UK edition of Pikes too the black covers.. US covers are still the WINNER! Love your chanel Cameron keep it up!
I loved this so much. I cherish the fear street books that I have. Sunburn was actually the first one I got myself when I was younger. Most recently I've read The new boy and liked it as well. Something about those books, the covers , the stories, the nostalgia..... idk they are just perfect in my opinion. Cant wait to see your ghosts of fear street books, i always loved the lime green look alot of them had to them. They all seemed to look very 80s in the color schemes. Thanks again for sharing. These are my favorite videos you do, seeing all those amazing books and remembering which ones I read and when. Its alot of fun. Stay safe, take care of yourself. Xo 🎃🔪🕷⚰💀📖🕯🎈📼📺
Most impressive!!! :D I enjoyed this immensely... the various cover art are super!!! Thank you for another wonderful video, terrific Mr. Cameron!!!!! :D
These types of books are the only ones that I love having them in terrible condition😂most have half the covers off or writing and I adore it but your collection looks beautiful with pristine covers. Silent night would have to be my favourite as well.
Yay I just love these vintage YA bookshelf tours! 🙌🏾 I also loved Silent Night and can't wait to read Silent Night 2 & 3 this Christmas. And thank you for teaching us what to look out for with different printings and covers. Man you know so much about books! You know I'm on the lookout for The Knife too. So hard to find.
You’re welcome! I’m glad to teach people my weird nerdy knowledge 😂 The Knife is SO hard to find, and I don’t know why. It didn’t have a limited printing or anything 🤔
I've read all the Goosebumps books but weirdly i've only read one Fear Street in the initial series, Halloween Party (cause they came out before my time in my country and i never see them ever in used book stores), cool to see it's one of the best! I have also read the first two books of the 2014 reboot when i was in my late teens: Party Games and Don't Stay Up Late, these were pretty cool and more daring than Goosebumps
I have some Fear Street books, but haven't read any of them yet, but your enthusiasm makes me what to move them up on my long reading list. I have the original Cheerleader Evil trilogy and the collector's edition of Goodnight Kiss 1 and 2. Great video and collection.
Mad appreciation, I see some Original LJ Smith books on your shelf. I've been a long time fan of her and I used to help moderate her website forum until it was shut down.
Dude I fucking love you because I've been looking for someone on youtube whose as much as a massive fan like I am of this series and RL Stine!!!! So thank-you for this channel and these reviews!!!
'Hey now, hey now....this is what dreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeams are made of' 🤣🤣🤣 I started collecting this and it is going to be a super challenge to get them in Germany but we love a challenge. Those cheesy covers are everything. They are all our favorite covers 🤣
@@LibraryMacabre That is the song that came to me when I startes watching this video hahahahaha I am starting to really collect so...my bank account is going to have some questions for me 👀
So here's something crazy.. I'm looking at my own bookcase while watching this.. acknowledging that yep I've got step sister. But then I see I've got the third horror, and at the same time I'm thinking oh I have the 3rd in seems to be a trilogy-- you then begin to talk about missing it!!
I have some boxes filled with Fear Street books! I keep them in the photo boxes to keep them from getting damaged. I have a couple Kindle versions, and luckily the ones I have feature the original cover. Many of them have horrible updated covers. I recognize so many of these because I own them. The Fear Street Sagas are my fave trilogy and inspired my own novel in progress series, but geared towards adults.
Great video. I have a large collection of Fear street, Goodebumps, and Ghosts of fear street. Mine are in the Spanish language edition as this is another way for me to learn a second language. Goosebumps ( Escalofríos) are very difficult to find. I have about 100 of them.
fear hall really really creeped me out as a 11 year old. i found the plot twist to be so unexpected and out of the box. lol. rl stein was my favourite author of all time back then
Awesome collection! I don't know whether we didn't have Fear Street in the UK or if the series just somehow totally passed me by but I wasn't aware of them back in the day. I did find Goodnight Kiss a couple of years ago and it was a fun read! I've since found a few others so I look forward to reading them :)
Hey Alex! There are UK Fear Street editions that are pretty cool, but maybe they just weren’t as popular there? The UK editions seem to be really scarce online.
I would say since the popularity of the movies it has been more rare; since it’s the only book based at Camp Nightwing, I see why fan would want it more. As far as I know, it looks like Lights Out probably didn’t get another printing, especially in recent years. I caved in as a newer fan and bought Lights Out from a reseller from Etsy named “Magic Unique Treasures” and it seems like they do a good job as keeping things in stock and the seller adds a ton of extras, I got Lights Out from them for like $20-ish
Bad moonlight will always be my favorite of the super chillers. But as far as favorite story its 99 fear street it has to be the scariest one of the series. Simon Feirs house gave me many nightmares lol
GOODNIGHT KISS IS SUCH A GOOD ONE! My sisters and I had the copy of it that was both the first and second one. It was one of my favorites growing up. Edit: I commented when it first showed up before seeing that he also had the type I was referring to.
Wow So many Fear Street, I love R.L Stine writing and fear street is best. I have listened to the audiobook of One Last kiss and it was so so good. I recommend you read it, it's my favourite R.L Stine book.
@@LibraryMacabre The audiobook I listened to, is from UA-cam, there's a channel named The Real R.L Stine Collector he makes audiobook of some books one of them is One Last kiss.
You’re so lucky!! It’s practically impossible to find Fear Street books in England. I got hooked when I read an old one from my schools library. Other than the handful that they had there I’ve had to resort to reading the few that are available on kindle :( I also loved the Point Horror books which are also few and far between.
Cameron, where do your get your bookcases? What are the various dimensions? I like how they match and compliment your collection. I’m starting to redo and expand my library and looking for ideas for bookcases.
Hey Cameron when read the message on the book called The Awakening Evil in the fear street series, it tells that book is a prequel to the Cheerleader series. The First, Second, and third evil and there two others you showed. The Awakening Evil can actually be considered book 1. So there are actually 6 books in that Cheerleader series.
I just found first edition first printing copies of Halloween party, one evil summer, the confession, the rich girl, and the knife. For 1.50 each!! These books are surprisingly hard to find!
I was waiting to see the book I have...but when I didn't, I looked at mine to discover it actually isn't a Fear Street book. 🤦♀️ It's from the Scholastic Point Horror line...still by R.L. Stine though and I loved it. It was called Blind Date.
@@LibraryMacabre They are SO good. I always loved reading about scary shit on college campuses!!! I’m gonna ask my cousin if she knows where all my books are. I might have some of the Fear Street ones that you’re missing.
I was really lucky finding the senior series or most of them together in a lot for like a buck each. Ive almost got a complete collection aswell :) not as good shape tho haha
Man, Fear Street takes me back. I was more into Goosebumps and I wasn't old enough to appreciate Fear Street, but I think one of the few I read was Hit and Run ( I think that was Fear Street....) I have a few hard cover Fear Street books I found at library sales but sadly haven't been able to find more because the library near my house (even with us being in least restrictive tier) is pretty stern about letting anyone in (you have to order your books online. You're not allowed in the library itself.)
Here is episode one of the Fear Street tribute podcast! Stay tuned for the third part where you’ll hear my part. ua-cam.com/video/0K01YZVvOTQ/v-deo.html

So here's something crazy.. I'm looking at my own bookcase while watching this.. acknowledging that yep I've got step sister. But then I see I've got the third horror, and at the same time I'm thinking oh I have the 3rd in seems to be a trilogy-- you then begin to talk about missing it!!
I’m so glad someone loves these books 😍😍 there really hard to find in Australia 😭😭 I can’t wait for the movies of them in July!! 😍
Me too, I’m so excited! I’ve watched the trailer probably 100 times 😂 Good luck finding more of them there in Australia!
Great collection and love how they are displayed.
Thank you!
This is such a great collection, I always liked the Sagas cover art
You're missing The Cat in your Fear Street collection. That one was fantastic! One of my favorites and even my dad enjoyed it back in the day.
Thank you, yes, that’s correct. I’m still looking for a copy but it’s very rare. I’ve never seen it on eBay for less than $40 😔
@@LibraryMacabre OMG, I just checked Amazon and there are 2 copies for $432!!! OMG!!! Makes me wish I didn't lose all my books. I had a copy.
@@LibraryMacabre Another copy on Amazon is priced at $700!! OMG
@@LibraryMacabre Look what I found...www.etsy.com/listing/973731602/fear-street-41-45-original-series-books?ref=listing-free-shipping-bundle-2
Still $45 for an “acceptable” copy 😭
I LOVE the Fear Street Sagas!!!
Missing was my first Fear Street book. Wish like heck I still had them all.
Next book shopping trip I'm hunting down some R.L. Stine books.
That sounds awesome about your project! The Saga is my favorite as well. So good.
Great video. I have a large collection of Fear street, Goodebumps, and Ghosts of fear street. Mine are in the Spanish language edition as this is another way for me to learn a second language. Goosebumps ( Escalofríos) are very difficult to find. I have about 100 of them.
fear hall really really creeped me out as a 11 year old. i found the plot twist to be so unexpected and out of the box. lol. rl stein was my favourite author of all time back then
I'm excited to read it! I haven't got the those ones yet.
Question, is “lights out” a rare fear street book? I CANT find it anywhere!
Not sure if it’s rare but I’ve got it in my attic. And so good
I would say since the popularity of the movies it has been more rare; since it’s the only book based at Camp Nightwing, I see why fan would want it more.
@@llamaseatfruit9757 Alr thanks yea I checked Etsy and most shops have that book sold out! I will have to check them out thanks!
Silent night 3 is hard to get as well. I cant believe the price of these fear street books now!
I have this one
Bad moonlight will always be my favorite of the super chillers. But as far as favorite story its 99 fear street it has to be the scariest one of the series. Simon Feirs house gave me many nightmares lol
GOODNIGHT KISS IS SUCH A GOOD ONE! My sisters and I had the copy of it that was both the first and second one. It was one of my favorites growing up.
Edit: I commented when it first showed up before seeing that he also had the type I was referring to.
Your so nice and love ur collectionI am huge fan of rl stine fear street
I typed up the good fear street and this popped up, thank god
Simply amazing!
Thank you!
Wow So many Fear Street, I love R.L Stine writing and fear street is best.
I have listened to the audiobook of One Last kiss and it was so so good. I recommend you read it, it's my favourite R.L Stine book.
Thank you! I haven’t listened to that audiobook, but I’ll look it up. I didn’t know there were audiobooks of the later released books!
@@LibraryMacabre The audiobook I listened to, is from UA-cam, there's a channel named The Real R.L Stine Collector he makes audiobook of some books one of them is One Last kiss.
Ah okay! I’ve seen him around before. Didn’t realize he narrated that book. Very cool!
You’re so lucky!! It’s practically impossible to find Fear Street books in England. I got hooked when I read an old one from my schools library. Other than the handful that they had there I’ve had to resort to reading the few that are available on kindle :( I also loved the Point Horror books which are also few and far between.
That really sucks :( I wish these books were more common.
If I can find them in india you can defo find them in England
Cameron, where do your get your bookcases? What are the various dimensions? I like how they match and compliment your collection. I’m starting to redo and expand my library and looking for ideas for bookcases.
You can find these on Amazon. My shelves range from 8-10 inches deep. They’re pretty affordable, around $30-$50. Good luck!
Fire vid bro
Thank you!!
The Perfect Date was my first Fear Street book!
Hey Jonathan! Yep, the Sagas are all prequels. I read The Awakening Evil many years ago when I bought it as Borders before it closed. Good times!
Wow. Mine's somewhere in the storage.
Really want to read this series!
I just found first edition first printing copies of Halloween party, one evil summer, the confession, the rich girl, and the knife. For 1.50 each!!
These books are surprisingly hard to find!
That’s awesome! Congrats!
Beautiful
Love this video 😻😍
☺️
I was waiting to see the book I have...but when I didn't, I looked at mine to discover it actually isn't a Fear Street book. 🤦♀️
It's from the Scholastic Point Horror line...still by R.L. Stine though and I loved it. It was called Blind Date.
OMG. Love Nightmare Hall. I used to have a TON of these books. Wonder where they’re all at now?? Lol.
They’re such cool books! I hope to binge read the series soon. :)
@@LibraryMacabre They are SO good. I always loved reading about scary shit on college campuses!!! I’m gonna ask my cousin if she knows where all my books are. I might have some of the Fear Street ones that you’re missing.
I'm so jealous lol. I only have like 3 or 4 fear street books haha.
I wish you luck finding more! They’re fun to collect. :)
Man, I’d love to find some hardcover library editions! That’s awesome. Hit and Run is a Point Horror, but it reads a lot like Fear Street. Good book!
In England we don't have books like this here unless you get it from the library if it's in print.
