This performance was a historical Rock moment that stands as a benchmark for musicianship, energy and an explosive performance from Kate and her incredible entourage. I do wish there was more clear footage of the band, or that they were in full light for this song, cause they were killing it!!

When I had this on VHS, I showed it to all my friends, who were mostly into the 80s hair bands. Anyway, they just just couldn't grasp what they were seeing . I was so pissed at them for not seeing how talented she is. Writes , produces, choreography, plays every instrument. Then , I said look at her she gorgeous!! The moves , her eyes. They never understood it? I fell in love with her and her music. No one else like her , never will be. Kate Bush rules !!!!!!!
If everybody understood it, she would be Madonna or Lady Gaga. She is special only to a select group of people who get it, and that's for the best.
People who dismiss Kate Bush are really missing out
Very operatic performance, decadent, over the top visually and superior vocally. Like opera, not everyone can appreciate or connect.
Richard Young I was into early '70s hard rock bands. '80s hair bands were just cheap imitations. At least Kate was original.
Kate once said she wanted to write a great Rock and Roll song and this was it. Don’t push your foot on the heartbreak is her other great Rock and Roll song.

I have this also taped from the show Night Flight that come on late night tv back in the 80’s. Mine is also taped on VHS. I couldn’t begin to tell you how many times it was watched before there was UA-cam!!
The greatest tour ever. Kate is just 19 years old here - WOW! Could watch this beautiful lady, beautiful music and great band all night long.(The drummers work here is fantastic) just wish someone would finally release this in decent quality.
The greatest live career cut tragically short. If there weren't the accident of Bill Duffield, there would have been no limits. Even as it were, she renewed the whole live performance scene, e.g. pioneering the microphone headsets.

I watched Kate Bush at the pre-tour warm up gig at Poole Arts Centre in May 1979. Instead of a handheld microphone she used a headset. Every single song was a work of art and this one was very best. Never seen anything like it since.

I was there. This was the highlight.
Nearly 40 years on, and still hot overtime I watch it.
and amazing as that concert was, with all the choreography , and drama and dancing, etc.. - the band still blows me away. They were so good, and so perfectly dialled in. I watch the documentary about the tour, and they rehearsed it to death. Flawless performance by everyone.
