She writes culinary murder mysteries surrounding a caterer in Denver. There are actual recipes in all of her books. I also got "When in Doubt, Add Butter" which is another baking themed book but I haven't read it just yet. I hope you like these and the Selection books. That series is possibly being made into a movie series.
