You really pulled this one out for me. I practiced it for about five minutes and abandoned it. But watching you create Morrisseau makes me want to go back in and make it happen. Thank you so much.
Anica.. I am thoroughly enjoying your Inktober series. So very relaxing, and your voice is so soothing. I absolutely LOVE how you are incorporating the many tangles onto a series of tiles. And I love your shading and highlighting. I still don't feel all that comfortable using renaissance tiles. Thank you for doing your videos for this series! 💕
Oh thanks a lot for such a loving feedback! 💞 As the project progresses you will find me struggling more with certain tangles (usually the highly structured ones). But I never gave up. 😊 I’m sure that you will eventually enjoy the Renaissance tiles. Zentangle is changing their paper source so it might be different once the color tone is not the same and the surface is sturdier. 😊
Your tips are so helpful! When you added the shading between the original BrrrSt and the newer section to join with Morriseau, it created an amazing definition between the two, and added to both BrrrSt and Morriseau at the same time. Thank you for sharing wonderful techniques with us!
I’ve been watching your classes on Skillshare and just love them! Then I found you on UA-cam! Your tangles are such beautiful pieces of art. Thank you so much for teaching and sharing your art with us. 😃💖
Ive never watched your videos before 😲 I’m stunned at how beautiful your work is, you have such control over your pen. I won’t miss your future videos 😍😍
Thank you so much, I really really enjoyed watching you create this next stage of your Tiles and Tangles too. Yes I have to agree your work is extraordinary. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
I am new at this, so I've been running searches daily on Inktober Zentangles.. so I'm getting to know a few of you, having so much fun just practicing different ways of doing these tangles...unfortunately, I'm too slow to actually do a finished product, but I don't really care. I'm filling a notebook with some incredible variations, & realizing how I'd do them differently myself. So much fun! Cheers!
It seems like you’re enjoying exploring each approach! Such a wonderful thing to do! And you can always pause and take your time for drawing. Even play videos at slower speed (not a great experience with audios of talking, though😁)
I am enjoy this series very much! So creative and beautiful. I’m doing the individual tangles for my ink toner and plan to go back when I have more time to do the shading, highlighting, etc. Thank you for providing a his inspiration 😁😁
Your work is outstanding. I love how you flow from one pattern to the next (also, from one tile to the next). Your graphite, chalk and gelly roll make each pattern come alive. You know just where to place each. AND, I am intrigued with your weighted lines. Mine look so messy. Could you possibly do a close up for us to see how you do it? Thanks.
Nancy, thanks for your kind words! 💞 Regarding the weighted lines, it’s basically just rounding, but the weight depends on how much space there is. 😊 So just round the corner and meet with the line near or further away from where you started. And I also find it challenging. It requires precision. 🙃
Lovely series! Have enjoyed them all. I'm sure we all hope you'll do it to the end. Thank you.
Making it unique! Really enjoy your Inktober.

Try slowing down the playback speed. There are three dots in the upper right corner of the video where you can access that option ☺️
