This is an astounding performance, and Annie Lennox looks absolutely stunning, and she has such a precise command over her voice that it seems inhuman. I remember this song very well, when I was a young teenager, and it just ripped through you every time you heard it, and the way she says certain notes sounds like the wind, agonizing with her, over her angst ridden love. I have never heard a voice like this in my life, when I first heard it, and I probably will never hear one like this again. The guitar sounds thin .... Wonder if a soulful player like John fruscwnte from red hot chili peppers could make this song away better... Like old soul recorded. Lie Parliament and funkadelix... Why anyone would want a garbage no tone.Sound is beyond me ... Annie is great.. but that guitar isn't rock n roll.. it's trash... guess it was the safe overproduxed sterile sound that was the typical 80s sound... The leads not bad..but ty heirs no tone In it...
