I liked your design for the collector rings for the track drives. But you need to add one toll to your toolbox, a soldering iron to make better connections between the wires and terminals. It only needs to be a cheap non temperature controlled one I also noticed that the hydraulic oil attracts a lot of moisture, a by product of the hot and humid climate in Vietnam. It can be the cause of the jerky motion of the boom. You could try to tape a couple of these small bags of silicagel which come with new electronics etc to the underside of the lid of the oil tank, it's the simplest method needing no redesign of your tank or hydraulic system. Swap them out regularly, you can dry the saturated ones on a warm surface.

@ You could also try mineral oil: Citroën "LHM" fluid which is used in the suspension of some of their cars, or the brake fluid used in Shimano and Magura bicycle brakes, or simply baby oil which is used to treat dry skin on babies. It should be safe for your plastic parts, it is a good hydraulic fluid, and it does not absorb water. Your work is incredible! You are a real master of model making.
