Fly into Jotunheimen for - GALDHØPIGGEN -HD

Hanggliding raw over Galdhøpiggen, over Scandinavias highest mountain 2469m. Late night and midnight sun, June 19th 2022. Together with Thomas and Manfred Ruhmer. Unsteady and noisy cam since all other cams froze up at high altitude. However, this is real and raw how arctic hanggliding goes. Music is courtesy and owned by "Two Steps From Hell - Victory".

I had a similar experience from Juvasshytta. It was one of those days the entire mountain plateau had been heated by the sun, and there was lift everywhere. Unfortunately, the cloudbase was too low that day, and Galdhøpiggen was out of reach.

Not many days a year that the possibility opens. This flight happened in the evening after a long day flying in Vågå. Suddenly the forecast opened the possibility and we rushed into the car. Not much time to grab proper clothes so it was an cold but unforgettable experience :-)
