An interesting take on MJ's baseball days, whilst Pippen and the Bulls took on the Knicks in the now infamous Game 5 @ New York in 1994.
    Enjoy.

The whole sequence where Jordan watches the Bulls at MSG is quite surreal. It feels just as wrong as seeing number 23 in a Wizards jersey.

Awesome -- Terry Francona was Michael Jordan's minor league manager! I did not know that!

I always wondered why Jordan tried baseball. I understand that he wanted to do it for his father but I think he should've just simply cleared his head and then decided a year or two later if he wanted to come back. Almost like him playing on the Wizards. I think the Bulls could've stayed together til 99 and tried to 4 peat had Jordan simply retired and cleared his head and then came back. Him focusing so much on another sport and then trying to come back and play NBA playoff basketball after a year and a half, is what had him rusty in 95 and what caused him to have to retire in 98 and as the ride was clearly over.

lsufa He wanted to give minor league baseball some exposure while Major League Baseball was months away from a strike (and no World Series for the first time ever).
