[Black Desert] Succession Sage PvP That Keeps You Up At Night | Vault Clips #1

Greetings gamers! Figured I'd bring you guys something fun today, here's a small clip dump from the vault over the past few years. It's not meant to be an actual montage, but enjoy some decent clips with light editing for a better viewing experience.
Probably won't be making too many of these as there's just not a lot of content in general for PvP these days, maybe I'll piece together another "at night" series with some twitch vault clips, as that's where the majority of bangers are. Glad you enjoyed it! :D And yeah the amount of "air time" you can get while in Rift Chain is extremely finnicky, you have to be falling at an angle and you can't be too high up either, or else you just get put into a fall animation or "please try again". But when it works out, Y axis flanks are one of the most satisfying things you can do on Sage!

For sure! I think the buffs are honestly awesome. Biggest change by far is the 30% DR on rift which helps a LOT.

I don't know why Sage succession is bad on 1v1s. His movement is very good.

Sadly the movement is one of the many reasons why it is extremely bad at 1v1's:
Succ Sage's big issues lie within the fact that it has a very slow, predictable, and relatively unprotected kit outside of Rift Chain/E buff. The movement is actually one of the slowest out of all classes in the game currently and very poor for 2024 standards.
Not to mention you can be tracked via the minimap while you are "invisible". So competent players completely invalidate that aspect of movement, and it leaves you as just a slow target in SA that can be easily tracked.
You can exploit bad players that don't know what Succession Sage does, but the same goes for almost any class. Except with Sage, it gets weaker the better players you fight against, especially in 1v1's where you greatly suffer against any fast class, blockjump class, or grab. In some cases, some classes have all 3 and those are the worst matchups for Succ Sage

@@BlackGeine It largely depends on the type of content you'd Iike to do! For example Succession is much better at large scale content like Node War and Siege because of how Rift Chain and the kit works, but performs poorly in small scale like Arena of Solare and 1v1 situations.
Awakening is far superior in small scale due to the much faster nature of the class and the fact that it has a grab which is massive for that type of pvp.
Once you do both your Succession and Awakening quest lines, you can freely swap between both whenever you like. You can basically save presets which have all your stuff saved. For example I have a preset for Succession when I PvP, and then also an Awakening preset for some PvE and small scale stuff. Hope that makes sense!
