  • EVADE/GYAKU TSUKI 🤜🏼
    🔻“Decoding Kumite” is a special series of videos, showing some useful kumite combinations, slow and regular speed how it supposed to be in match or even in a fight.
    🔻What is required for this technique or comb is a momentum, or a feel to not be frightened by the possibility to be attacked by opponent and keep evading little by little, you must be confident of your speed, so you must practice just evading attacks. Then, you can go for counterattacks.
    🔻 The speed of Gyaku tsuki is (0.212) m/s while the normal Gyaku tsuki could attain an average high speed of (0.215)m/s. so its a quite bit fast, so you must observe the opponent and analyze their body laguange or movement, and be prepared every second when the distance is allowing to attack you, to evade and counterattack gyaku jodan, chudan etc.
    🔻So,
    1. First you need to practice evade in contact distance;
    2. The gyaku focus;
    3. Evade speed, or abs-rotators
    4. Whole thing from really slow to fastest as you can, and you can expect yuko or one point or even really flashy punch in a face.
    🔻We’re really hope we can help someone with this, and enjoy ofcourse in karate and keep the karate great!
