My 65 yr old gujju grandmother watches almost all of these shows and enjoys them to the level that we can't change channels even if it is a repeat telecast, so yeah, that's the kind of audience watching this...

So, I have done a little of my own research (2 google searches) on this. These TV shows do not aim for longevity, bas shock factor (yes, this type of cringe does have shock value) pe jitne hafton tak trp mile, thik hai, then just cancel the show and onto new cringe. Actors get quick bucks with less effort as well, and the producers don't lose as much money if the cancel the show after like 100 or 150 episodes.
