I have hated the 49ers most of my life. I grew up in orange county So Cal, a Rams fan and Oakland fan. Then moved to Oklahoma in 77, and became a Cowboys fan in the early 80s. Still hating the 49ers. But since I saw brock beat my Sooners his freshman year as ISU 3rd string QB I have been in his corner. I am breaking a lifetime hatred because of Brock.. GO NINERS

League desperately needed a guy like this. An underdog that can hang with the first round QBs and force them to elevate. He's the Brady to Mahomes' Peytton Manning. Scrapy, clever underdog vs. the standout talent. A dynamic that the league benefitted from enormously and it's so good to have it again so quickly.

I’ve NEVER seen them win it! I turn 32 2 days after the Super Bowl. Been a fan since 1998 when I was 6 years old. 25 years I’ve been waiting to see them win it all. I was born in the Bay Area the exact year The Niners won their first ring. I had a toddler Niners sweatsuit my mom made, with a Super Bowl Champs patch on the back and my grandfather had me with him during every game. LoL I usually have Sundays off anyway, but I told my boss I will legit quit if they try to call me in next Sunday lol

They lived through the 80s with Walsh, Montana and Rice. I’m so jealous that I wasn’t around to see all of that. Recently though, my mom has been trying to watch the 49ers more because of how well we’ve been doing the last few years but she doesn’t understand the rules so she will call me or text me about what’s going on and I’m like “Mom I’m watching the game!”. I honestly hate when people call or text me when the game is on. It annoys the hell out of me so I get why you told your boss not to call you lol. It really is that serious! I was there in SF when we played Miami, we all thought the game was over when he came in. He ended up playing pretty damn good but I didn't really think much of it at the time. Then on the train back home news dropped that Jimmy was done for the year, we thought the season was over. Crazy how it all worked out, Purdy is such dawg!

He felt that he deserved to be picked in the first round of the NFL Draft, and if he wasn’t, then he would not play in the league. When he was picked in the first round of the NBA Draft by the New York Knicks, he chose to pursue a basketball career.

As a Brit, I fell in love with the Joe Montana 49ers in the 1980s., and have followed them ever since. I am also proud to say I saw them at the old Wembley Stadium, London England against Washington. This young man is a revelation and a dream for us. Brock is a star among stars including Kittle, Aiyuk and of course the awesome McCaffrey, but as he said, he is only one of a team. He is going to be stellar in the game I am sure.
It's ridiculously early for this but unless this kid gets hurt I see Canton in his future.

As a lifelong 49er fan, I was dreading the idea of Purdy backing up Trey Lance and Jimmy G going into the 2022 season. Now I gladly eat crow.
This kid is himble ,resilient, and all he does is wins games,how can anyone have any hate towards him,he's not great yet but if he keeps playing the way he is he will be.
They call him a game manager but these highlights show a guy taking over games
New saying it since day one.. kid ran a very similar offense and was making the exact same style of plays and throws he does now.. been on the purdy train since halftime of that Miami game.. got on the internet at halftime got his jersey and been wearing it every game day since the Tampa start.. the story is so amazing when it’s made into a movie it doesn’t even need to be embellished.. the scrips writers couldn’t even add to this story.. the movie is a documentary not based on real or true events.. its that good
