Really nice cool device, you keep surprising me with your insights and execution of those, keep it up pyro
i know its been a while since this was posted but do you have a site where these disks can be purchased? i checked the etsy link and says it is no longer there. also, did you ever consider stainless steel instead for corrosion resistance?
Hey I use a modified tortilla press and spacing rods 1/4 3/8 1/2 3/4 then I run my wheels through
You also need spacers on the sides to determine the height of the stars. Makes a nice even slab. Then use your device and voila
Them cutting wheels are hard to find I was trying to make one myself a while back using copper disc that were .24 guage it worked decent but corrosion ruined it after 1 winter in the cabinet.
20 cutting wheels using 1/8" spacers makes the assembled cutter ~2.5" wide, The assembled cutter (your old one) has around 30 if I counted correctly. Can I pay a little more for some additional cutters? I plan on making smaller stars for now.
I will make a listing for more wheels. You can always make your patty long and skinny...If add add to many wheels it will jack the price up and i want it to be affordable. Maybe make another listing that has 35 wheels? Ill think about how to do it
Would you give the dimensions of those cutting wheels your using?? Or is it a trade secret ?
I just watched a video of an Idian firework factory. They made hundreds of pounds of stars a day. Two guys and a bedsheet rolling them.
