Yes, it’s ACTUALLY that good!! 🤤💀 And also, the waiter specified that those are St. Louis style pork ribs. Here in St. Louis (I happen to live here) the way we do ribs is a long, slow smoking, then we add the sauce and slow smoke some more. It sort of caramelizes the sauce making it a sticky, smoky melt in your mouth combination. It’s more of a smoky sweet sauce as opposed to a vinegar based sauce or sauce with spicy heat that you might find elsewhere in the country. I believe in Tennessee they don’t sauce the ribs at all, just smoke them then you can add your own sauce afterward. You seem put off by their description of the ribs as sweet, but trust me when I say you’d dig it.
Lewis! When you said English loaded potatoes were Heinz beans, coleslaw and cheese, my stomach clenched! 🤢 I stopped the video and went and asked my (British) husband if that was true! I asked him, "You put those things together on a potato?!" He said it's true. I CANNOT imagine those flavors together! But then, I can't understand ketchup on fish and chicken, either. 🤔❤❤
Pork ribs are great when they are sweet, very often like the place I worked at we covered the ribs in brown sugar..heavy first..let them sugar melt and caramelize than add the other seasoning! The stickiness of the sugar helps keep the other seasoning on the rib! Than throughout cooking process you can baste the rib in a sugar, butter, we used apple juice baste to keep moist!
I'm a local of NOLA and live close to Blue Oak BBQ and not many people order the whole menu. We go straight for the Ribs or Brisket everytime. Believe me when I say it's so dammmmmmm gooooood!

Plain canned baked beans need to be "doctored up" by adding more flavors to them to your taste...like bbq sauce, onion, brown sugar, mustard, garlic, meat or liquid smoke, etc. Bush's baked beans are very good here in the US and has several flavors.
I would recommend Austin, Texas for beef bbq, New Orleans for Cajun, Creole and seafood, and Charlotte, North Carolina for pork. New Orleans is not known for bbq, although I’m sure they have some great restaurants there.
For a loaded baked potato... Bake your potato. Fry some bacon really crispy and crumble it up. Cut the potato down the center, add tons of butter, then cheese, then much much sour cream, add bacon bits on top of that, then add chopped spring onions (green onions) on the very top. Don't forget to salt and pepper to your taste.
Excellent description, but to your directions I’d add: 1) rub the outside of the potato with a bit of butter or olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt before baking. And 2) when you split the potato down the center, use your knife or a fork and “loosen up” the flesh of the potato so that when you add the heaps of butter it can melt all down into the potato so there aren’t a bunch of dry bits down inside.😋
I recently discovered your channel. I love your attitude about people and life in general. Thanks for making videos that are fun to watch and have positive messages. You're also hilarious. I live in Alaska if you ever make it over and would like even more recommendations. ❤️ Happy Thanksgiving! 🐓
A "loaded" baked potato has butter, sour cream, chives, shredded cheese, chopped brisket and bbq sauce on the side. My favorite loaded potato is at Smoky Joes BBQ here in Dallas and it's called "The Jamal", named in honor of the owner's nephew. That potato has ALL of the ingredients above PLUS 2 pork ribs and 2 sausages!! From the sound of it, you have been exposed to a limited number of vegetables (you've never tasted spinach or brussels sprouts?) and good meat. Come to Texas and give us a week. They'll need a front-end loader to hoist your behind to the plane!
The platter of meats and sides is almost always available at these types of restaurants! You can also order single meal with choice of meats and sides.
That's some awesome cracklin. I'm prepping a pork butt right now for thanksgiving. Gonna smoke it and shred it. Just tagged you on insta with a shot of last year's thanksgiving brisket. 🤤
If you come to New Orleans, let us know, we'd love to treat you to a meal or two here. We'll put you out of your bbq/ nacho misery. Cracklins are pork belly, smoked and fried. The baked potato has lots of butter, sour cream, melted cheese, crumbled bacon bit and finely diced green onion on top.

And 2) when you split the potato down the center, use your knife or a fork and “loosen up” the flesh of the potato so that when you add the heaps of butter it can melt all down into the potato so there aren’t a bunch of dry bits down inside.😋
absolutely!! Thanks for finishing it off. @@julielong8714
Yes, it's actually that good. Not gonna lie, why would I lie? It's that good.

Your food reactions are funny 😅

Happy Thanksgiving!
Pork ribs being sweet is amazing. Do not mock it until you’ve tried it!!
I see the tear's in your eyes!😂
Per your request: cracklins made right are that good. But if you want to level up go pork belly burnt ends. That is the true pork candy.
I can’t wait until you come to America. ❤
It’s better than you can imagine
Crackaliing is deep frying chicken skin to crispy! So good!
People usually order one thing. Sweet BBQ is wonderful
If your meat is tough your cooking it wrong
