These people are very creative and have exceptional skill, but their lack of any sense of self preservation around their tools is a bit hard to watch, if any of my workmates put their fingers that close to a jointer's blades it would be goodbye and don't let the door hit you on the way out and the fellow on the lathe has his eyes closed much of the time. I guess they must have first class health care.
