@Transit Bites The point you raised @10:45 - Tickets are allotted in a mixed manner (long+short journeys) in every coach to ensure there is even and equal distribution of load in the train.. So, every coach has a mix of long and short journey passengers.
At 7:35, that police sir seemed to tell you to keep inside. Nice gentleman to warn people of potential dangers. I once lost my colour Nokia mobile back in 2003 in CBE North station. I cried a lot that time. It's dangerous to keep mobile recording devices outside the window of a moving train. Just beware.

I am a Railway employee, the best route in India is Mumbai Delhi Rajdhani route. 1384 kms Rajdhani covers in 15 hrs. Now they are planning to reduce by 3hrs. Even normal trains run faster.
