That was really really educational. I dont think I have come across a curved tutorial like this so in depth since I have been watching photoshop tutorials. Thanks. I will be saving this to watch again until I get the best grasp of it.
Thank you so much! Many other tutorials provide only a superficial overview, but you made very useful demonstrations showing WHAT each control is actually doing to the color range! Excellent work!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Sometimes when I click a point on the diagonal line, the point and the line move slightly, Is there a key combination that keeps the line from moving when I click a point? Thanks.
I'm using Lightroom at the moment, but this makes me want to try Photoshop since it seems to have more controls. Thank you for the throughout explanation of what it all means!
Wow, Great vid. Nailed a bunch of stuff I didn't know. Purchased the SMP actions a couple of years ago a never looked back. Am about to look at the retouched pack after typing this comment. Thanks guys. Andy Banks. Bendigo, Australia
There was an in accurate statement at time stamp 6:20. You mention that Curves can replace Channel Mixer. It cannot. Channel mixer mixers RGB channels. For example, if the total value is maintained at 100% in the channel mixer for all R, G & B values, you can mix and change colors without effecting the neutrals. Which is not possible with curves.
For the benefit of your own organization and that of all observers of your videos around the world, it is essential that your UA-cam channel offers as soon as possible a response to what was indicated by the observer Suhail Suhail 4 months ago; either that it was an error on your side or that you provide the evidence to prove that Curves can replace what is generated by the Channel Mixer command. StyleMyPic has spent a long time giving a clear and straight answer on a matter that has a fundamental implication on your credibility.
Hello Sergio, Suhail Suhail is absolutely correct and we hit like on that comment. Sorry it was not clear that we agree to his statement. Some Channel Mixer effects are also not possible in curves.
Never have I seen a tutorial this depth and informative.
Very helpful and informative! Thank you so much for your generous sharing! Good luck!

Is there a way to do “clarity”, “texture” and dehaze via curves?
Bravo and thank you!!
