Fought him 3 hours straight and after 1 hour I focused on his pattern and not killing him until I knew every attack. After learning his moves I only used 2 potions, made me feel like mastered ultra instinct
Hardest boss in the game indeed. The best part is after when you are reward with a super easy fight that is simultaneously epic and make you feel like a badass god like colossus.
@@Big_G_Dawg no idea. But it's almost impossible to lose the kaiju fight since you have health regen each time you use your heavy attack. It's just a all guns blazing situation...

Hey man, can I ask something? In the last phase when fighting Erlang, I noticed every time u use the rock solid spell, there's another spell called "Scorch Shower" in the button pallete, but I don't think every playthrough I've watched use that. Does the spell doesn't do anything?
if i finish chapter six and i got wukong armour can i do this boss? i mean for the good ending i need kill him before chapter six or i can wait for wukong armour and fight before final boss?
@@VinnFactsyou have to complete all the secret area bosses and also get spell bound spell from kid Buddha, kid Buddha will tell you to go to the great pagoda but you can only access it after you beat the hidden bosses
If you have a cheat that boost damage it maybe because the game didnt think that you would do so much damage and dont have enough hp to trigger the cutscene for you to kill all 4 of them
@@tysontitus996 took me 4 hours. I liked the fight , I just wish some devastating moves were more choreographed because they came light speed fast. My strat was to respec my perks and pills to have as much mana as I could, equiped a spirit that reduced the mana cost of cloud step and used it in those moments when I knew the stack was about to come. Just a piece of advise don't put points on the cloud step perks that increase damage and it's mana cost so you can use it throughout the whole fight. And while you're in cloud step mode use pills to refill your focus to use heavy attacks more often
I've been stuck on the boss for hours and am starting to get really desperate. Does anyone have any tips for me? Since I'm playing in German, I don't know the exact names of the skills etc. but I use my monkey gang right at the start, paralyze the boss and attack with the spinning staff. I usually use the frog and hope for lightning, otherwise I can't get the bar down until the clones are gone. After the bar is full again, I try to get it down with just normal attacks. Then the third time, the monkey gang again and frog when ready and the fourth time the tornado. But I never manage to beat the boss. Getting the bar down alone takes forever
on phase 1 i feel like best way to do it is just try get his armor bar to 3/4. then if you can immobilize him you can flourish your staff with the talent to let you move forward. you can easily destroy his armor bar and then just combo and use spirit you should be able to get into phase 2
@@Trophygamers i have gourd with 10 Uses, yes. The first 5 hours i did it without any potions or whatever 🤣 if i rly stay Focus, i can do it until the last phase but i guess my big Problem is, i get to much Hits.

@@MegaEngelchen01 i mean without monkey gang at the start could let you do more on phase 4 no since you should have more mana. maybe use item that let you resurrect?. my start is the one that i just mention before. i immobilize him and destroy his armor by flourishing in front of him. which pretty much guarantee me to phase 2. and then on phase 2 is only me using cloud step to dodge his combo that i am not confident with. at the start of phase 3 i use the fan and the monkey gang. that usually leave me with 6 uses of gourd with erlang hp at 15%. then i pray to actually defeat him. took me like 3 hours but finally able to defeat him

You have to find all secret levels in chapters 1, 2, 4, and 5 and then go back to the great padoga in new west. You should get a cutscsne with baby Buddha.

Yes you can if you save data before erlang and just beat wukong then use your safed data and beat erlang and then wukong, you will get both endings
You can just fight wukong then erling then wukong again

are you using consumables ? that really helped me.. and do you have the gourd with 10 uses ? i barely made it tbh really a tough fight

why is it when i goi to the grand pogoda the monk doesnt appear for me? im on chapter 6, jkust started and ive killed all the loongs

And do the melon side quest in chapter 3
Also you need ALL 5 skandas, the 5th one only happens in chapter 6 when you have 4 skandas.
You gotta finish the actual game then continue journey (do not do NG+)
