Looking back after 7 years it's still impressive. Works ahead of its time :D
"first, you added the soul. An solid and shiny white liquid.
After, you bring him blood, Using a few drops of your feels and dreams.
And this rig come to life..."
Amazing job, footage, everything. is simply perfect!
This is art if I ever saw it.
Truly fantastic work!
L'un des plus beau PC watercooling a ce jour, une pure merveille et ce PC a quasi 10 ans, imaginez la prouesse a ce moment
Bref mon préféré, depuis ils n'ont rien inventé de mieux.............
7 years ago, this video motivated me to build my own loop. Great times
Now that's something I've never seen before and I know it has nothing to do with the water-cooling but the music and the colour grading added to the whole effect. I absolutely loved this video, from both a creative and technical standpoint. Keep it up your work is awesome
I come back to this every so often. I saw it back in 2013 and this video ended up leading me down a path of building computers and leaning about IT. I passed my CompTIA a+ exam last week, Im pretty sure this had something to do with it.
Grats on passing the exam!
@@metap0Pe Thanks man, It almost doesn't feel real that this is almost 10 years old. The build you inspired me to make was an Air540, 2x 780tis in sli, 4930k and 32gb of ddr3.
Simpler times :) I wanted to do something like yours but on a TJ07 If you remember those, very hard to get your hands on these days
Not sure what's most impressive, your elegant build quality, your fine cinematography, or your clean video editing. keep up the awesome work.
Best WaterCooling I have seen and obviously the best video about this subject. Very nice work!! Very nice indeed!!
Damn this may be the hardest water cooled video I've seen, and it's from 2013. I'm loving the small distro's that you used to get away from doing short bends in the tubing. Kudos good sir
Amazing build my friend exelent, and the atmophere that you create with the music is incredible. Long life.
I still come back to this video. It sparked my love for water cooling. The distro plates were started here. This is where they started. I could only dream of owning this one day
Do you use full fat or skim milk?
made my day :DD
Paddeiii same here lol
Paddeiii same here lol
Hahahaha that was nice
I would use some full fat to keep things lubricated =P
one of the best looking fully custom liquid cooled setups I've seen in a very long time, down to all your Bitspower fittings, just nutz!
This is why I love PC's. Love seeing the beauty people can make out of the,
5 years ago and still very impressive.
I'm not sure why anyone would not enjoy watching this. Well done!
This is like the center of all computer video's, no matter what graphics card I search, I always end up here eventually.
and i'm still watching this is in 2016
2017 ...puff
2018 Pfff....
Hi
Not only is that sweet looking work, but the cinematography in the video is awesome.
Well done. Artistic and well made rig and video. Bravo.
Why would anyone dislike this video? this thing is the most artistic watercooled systems I've ever seen.
nice metroid music
Ha! I knew that music sound familar!
Gorgeous build, including the footage..you get my Oscar for "Best video of build unveiling"
This is ART!
The best produced and edited PC build video i've ever seen... Really, great work
I enjoyed the absolute balls out of this, well done.
NumNaughts This vid made me love balls. It was that good.
among all watercooled rigs I've seen so far, this one is the best looking one. The design is unique and well. I love it!
this is insane, this is one of the best video's i have ever found on youtube.
i wish i can make my watercooling that nice one day XD
I wish I can have watercooling one day.
Huey Freeman I wish I can have one day
IAmCecilMan I wish I can have one.
Echocookie Why not make one ;)
Loving the Maridia theme remix you used, very fitting and sounds so badass considering what your video's about.
no porn on youtube
it's gorgeous....literally a dream for me to one day build a computer like this. I'm only a neophyte in the computer world...but someday...someday I will create my own masterpiece.
May you enjoy all of the glory of this machine.
~Butcher
you know its the christmas sales right. just go to newegg.
If only. My little Bitfenix Prodigy water cooling setup alone would probably cost over 500 if I started from scratch with fans. Thankfully a lot of the parts can be reused.
Same, problem is I don't want it for myself :( and if I did build it and try to sell in my non-gamer low population country, yeah it would be for sale for a LOOOOOOOOOONG time, currently I build 1000€ PC and I'm like, did I really need this??? No, How do I get rid of it, sell it? doubt anyone would buy it. GREAT, smart life choices.
Well built and designed. So much thought was put into it. Only thing I noticed was at the end 1 of the reservoir had a huge amount of air in it. All the others were filled nicely so it just stood out to me.
Hope you had a second person to help you rotate that baby around to get it out and make it a 10/10 instead of 9.9/10.
Keep up the great work and I hope you take my comment as a way to improve and get even better. Loved it and the video.
What a amazing setup!
Bro. I love the photography planning you used. Beautiful design presentation. Congrats.
Blood & Milk
in the sky
i thing the same :D milk!!
One of the best looking builds I've ever seen. You might just talk me into messing around with some acrylic myself..
This could be the intro of a sci-fi game or a movie.
The song is from a sci-fi game, Metroid Prime 2.
eli.k.miller In fact, that song was originally from Super Metroid 3, lower Brinstar area. I love that game.
Whoa! Excellent work of art here. Excellent skills. Love it, and the music too. Normally don't like just music and no talk, but this was the perfect music.
Damn thats some resident evil shit.
Amazing camera work. Seriously. I am willing to bet one of your hobbies is photography. This makes me want to try my hand at stuff like this.
This is art, this is!
Can I ask you Hans Peder, what's the experience like getting sent a Caselabs case?
I'm in Norway and have wanted to get Caselabs for my new build, but a bit worried about getting sent a case in bits from the US.
You have nothing to worry about. They come packed as good as it can be done, and it would take a natural disaster for anything to happen for the parts. Generally every time I have gotten a CaseLabs case (4 times) the shipping has been super, and nothing has been damaged. I highly recommend them.
love the filming with the soundtrack. This is an artists build.
Linustechtips 10/10 :-)
I saw your build-log on Overclock.net a while ago... and I'm still not sure which is more beautiful... your build or the music... kudos for the amazing cinematography too
i think Jayz owns less waterblocks than you used xD
Oh my god, that is gorgeous. I would love to see how it was built and constructed. There's nothing better then a beautiful mod.
There is a link to the build log in the description :)
34 people have mac's
i have 2 macs and love this shit!
its 300 now...puff
SHADOWxWOLF 322
SHADOWxWOLF 332 now
333
Most beautiful machine I personally have ever seen. Nice work, Hans.
I sit here with my Corsair H60 and weep:)
You, sir, created a piece of art by making the fillup into such a nice video. Also, the PC speaks for itself. Well done!
MARIDIA THEME SUPER METROID SONG!
nearly 4 years later and i'm still in love
and here I am thinking that I'm the best watercooling assembler. -_- just dissolved to inklets in less than 6 minutes.
*****
i have a similar rig with about 2500 in it id say with his 3 cards and extra stuff i dont have hes got about 3500- 4k in parts without the cooling. prolly another 2-3k in the cooling. hope hes running 5ghz or more with all that cooling or its a waste. i stay under 70c rendering all night with an h100i at 4.6ghz
EZOVERDOSE
I'm sure your rig is very nice,
However, I suggest you take a look at his build log before making such a bold statement " I have a similar rig like his"
I also didn't see your build on your channel, but again, i'm sure it is a nice rig :)
Stoneyman101
cpu: 3930k c2@4.6ghz
cooling: h100i
mobo: sabertooth tuf
ram: 32gb 1600mhz gskill sniper gaming
gpu: gtx770 ftw edition
psu: seasonic x750
samsung 840 pro 128gb
2 1tb wd black raid0
1tb wd blue
250gb wd
similar rig with half the ram, 2 less vid cards, smaller psu, and no crazy custom cooling
I'll have to see your rig before I can believe that "similar rig statement"
.
i know im grave digging but a closed loop cooler is not at all similar to this rig..... also that case is like 800$ and then the other stuff such as the disc reader the fan controller and such.
This looks so much better and slicker than all the other watercoolers, with all tubing just running here and there...
ok i withdrew everything from my life savings account, now where do i buy it??
you make it
Companys have been selling liquid cooled systems for years. The 1st 1's I worked with were Cray's. Many years ago. I have been building systems for Gamers for years. Check out COOLMASTER. They put out an excellent line of closed, leak proof coolers. Think about the case you are going to put these items into. COOLMASTER once again has a good line of cases. What ever your wallet will stand there is no end! Every thing you would need to know, almost, may be found right here on youtube. If done properly, you may be able to overclock abit, or a bunch. When they leave my shop they are already set up to run at Normal Speed. Check out the Aquarium Cooled systems. Neat to have a Mineral Oiled Cooled system! Whatever your wallet can stand is possible. Good Shopping! Best of Luck!!! Redd...
Redd Pepper interesting stuff, however i believe the "COOLMASTER" you're referring to is in fact called "COOLERMASTER".
love how no one noticed this was a joke and are taking it seriously
Listen to me dude !!
ditch yourself in some hole and never come back here :D
absolute work of art well done and well executed, cable management and liquid cooling management at its finest!
I liquid cool my PC with blood and milk as well!
I love the aesthetics. Beautifully done. That's why you call those pieces of art "One Million Dollar PC".
Can I buy your pc with my soul?
sorry but a soul isnt enough try putting ur kidneys too
kevin evangelista mm.. ok, my soul, my house and my kidneys ^,^
After looking at so many custom PCs, I have to say hands down this is simply the most beautiful PC in my mind. I would totally pay $8000 (as you said below) for this beautiful beast without thinking twice. Totally NVing right now...
3:19 here he adds the blood of a dead gamer jelious of this pc
I've watched a lot of these videos, and the water-cooling components in this system are the best looking I've seen yet. So much better than the bent rubber tubing that goes every which direction.
But the question is.......will it blend?
If you have a big enough blender it will^^
after all these years it's still a masterpiece. Even in today's time people just aren't creative enough for water cooling.
is it normal to have a chub after watching this??
i had half of one lol
+Bob Billings I hope so
+Bob Billings Yes, is it normal to cry when you see the prices? yes
+Bob Billings Tell me what you mean
I am extremely picky about hardware and aesthetics. With that said, you have made a piece of art. It's one of the best that I've seen.
Bishop's blood!
Pretty cool video..like the cinematography. The water cooking that UV white color in the beginning makes the system look Tron like.
But can it run Minesweeper?
I bet it can barely run solitaire
This might just be the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
WOW, how much did this system cost? Amazing
Ton watercooling est vraiment super beau !
C'est très très propre !
Bon boulot !!
(je suis jaloux)
Hahaha, all that and a lg dvd writer ruins it.
No, probably not. I'm building a beowulf cluster that will cost 1/10th of what this does and be a super computer in terms of computations for some things. It's not about what it costs, it's about what it does for the money. I watercooled a w3690, overclocked it to 4.5ghz that is the second place for that processor on geekbench for about $60. So hahaha.
You can get cheap chinese watercooling parts that functionally do the same thing and don't necessarily look so pretty, but get the job done. That's all I care about. I can't fanthom why anyone would put a dvd writer in such a rig though when it's clearly all about form over function in his case.
I don't think you are at the right place if it is about the costs for you. This sort of thing makes little sense when you consider bang for the buck or practicality, but it makes all the sense when you consider the sexiness.
That's a blu ray drive...Not a DVD writer...
I really don't think you did yourself and this build sufficient justice with this video. I'm left with more questions than answers. Awesome computer just which you had shown how you accomplished it.
Wayne Wedderburn Take a look in the description. There is a link to a complete and detailed build log.
thanks bro really awesome work.
price?
More than most would pay:)
my budget is 4000 so...
Ajani Amedee not enough yet...
5000?
depends on ehat do you want, hadrware + watercooling will maybe reach 6000 if you want a monster but WC system could be obviously less
watching this mod has touched me to tears. Can sound ridiculous but it's the truth. You're my new number one, buddy!
why did i just watch this?
Awesome film editing and music choice. Really nice to watch.
at first I wondered why the music was so familiar. then I realized it's metroid
Finian Blackett Lower Brinstar
i remember first time i saw this video in 2013, i will love to see a remake of some sort of type of this build
this is still the most coolest build i have ever seen to this day
Time to do the taxes.
Cool machine and great video editing. I really like the white flat waterblock tubes.
Seams completely stupid to have air in-taking in the top, common knowledge that heat rises, why fight physics
Tobias Partridge gr8 b8 m8
hans peder sahl Hmmm strange never heard of this language, dont understant it :) nice response though as it confirms typical "engineer status" to me, knows everything but not everything, a danger i see all too often and why I do a better job
Tobias Partridge what makes you think the fans are pulling air in and not exhausting it out? Mine exhausts from the top and back...side and front and under pull air in.
Artificiallntell The first few seconds of the video and when he snaps the "top" cover in place at 4:20, the fans all have there hubs and blades facing out, all PC fans if following this design rotate anticlockwise when looked at from the hubside of fan, and the motor/frame side is facing down, so you have a water cooling system that is pumping heat to the top of the case to be "exhausted" but oh wait, it gets pushed back in the case as there is also a push pull arrangement of the fans too - double wammy of bad implementation. look at a oil/electric heater and a water radiator for house heating, they are designed for air currents to pull fresh air in the bottom and exhaust out the top, so are fan forced ones, intake bottom, exhaust top.So I am aggreing with u, just look a bit closer in the video
Artificiallntell Please don't feed the trolls.
.....wow....(trying to find words to describe what I just saw)....I want to be like you when I grow up!..you are the Chip Foose of computers. You make functional works of pure art!...just stunned...at a loss of words. ..
That is PC build porn!
This project pushed me into watercooling more than ten years ago
i jeez my pants
what insane talent you got...... every single case is epic
I would Say Milk Cooler
nice video ! love the use and look of the water blocks over the tubing just give it a whole different look that i have not seen...well done
,,
well....fuck
Awesome Video,Awesome Setup.
I really dig the "Pipe" music to go with a water cooled and "piped" video ..
so to say. Nice Work!!!
THIS IS MEAN
this is one of the best water loop builds iv'e seen, iv'e seen tons of builds and got to say very nice.. your build puts mine to shame. lol.
I don't think coloring is good for watercooling
It can gunk up your loop, yes, besides that watercooling is an ongoing project with maintenance frequently where you either flush the loop and refill it. :-)
yeah sure colored water can be bad for you system.. so can dust ;) it's all about maintenance.
***** random shit = dyes or mainteance additives?
***** right, i opened a watercooled heat sink after 6 month because the water lost its red color (wrong additive) and flocculated really much, nearly blocked the system. In future i only will ad some radiator anti freeze liquid for cars, nothing more.
That's one hell of a loop you've built! I hope to build a water-cooled gaming PC soon, but I don't plan on making a loop as intricate as that! My hat goes off to you!
Also, I'm digging that remix of the Torvus Bog Catacombs theme from Metroid Prime 2! :D
I like the idea of straight tubing and stylish bubble filters (I'm just assuming that's what the patterns are for in the reservoir). Great build! Very Tron.
beauty
I really admire the talent n craftsmanship of this sort of way of cooling a PC
Wow its been 2 years and this is still impressive
Wow! Incredible work! I especially like the push-pull configuration on the radiator, must run ice cold. ;)
