Mike, I get the sense you didn’t care for this all that much. I suggest that you watch this a few more times. When I first heard this on his digital concert, I didn’t care for it. I am more of a fan of his other music. But after a few more listens, I really like it now, even if I’m not into pop. There’s a lot to see and hear that you don’t catch on just one viewing.

Yes, our DEARest is certainly versatile. Luckily he is like love, its supply is endless and all encompassing. There's enough to go round, it's like loving a new born child, it doesn't take an ounce of love from the existing children. A new spring of it forms and it's just as strong and powerful. And it's OK to love all the children equally. This is how I feel about Dimashs works. I can love and appreciate each one for what it is and I'm glad they're all individuals. He is a big Jackie Chan fan and Dimash has done a song for one of his movies. They became friends a few years back. Dimash is also a huge MJ fan and that influence is quite clear. Dimash wanted to show a different side of himself and brought in top talent for this mv. To me it’s a fun dance party style that appeals to a wider audience. You should check out ‘Adagio’ from the Chinese Singer 2017 and from the same show ‘Confessa and the Diva Dance’. Diva Dance is sung by the Blue Alien in Fifth Element of you’re familiar with it. He was on a train in china talking to some fans & he told them he has 3 more videos to release. I'm hoping he'll release another one for his birthday May 24, he'll be 27. I'm waiting for him to be on GQ.mens magazine. I appreciate whatever he sings. Popk rock, Opera, Ballads, funk, etc............I'm ready for him to come back to the USA for another concert!

Usually in traditional Korean taekwondo the red belt is just before gaining a first degree black belt, or first Dan. We saw subtitles in this interview, which are translated as you said. Now we are looking for person, who knows kazakh language: could be bad translation of the subtitles... In is written that Dimash has red belt in all newspapers in russian language we found, also in all his biographies we found till now...
Dimash practiced Taekwondo a few years ago (red belt). He grew up admiring Michael Jackson and Jackie Chan !! We will be waiting for the second part of the video clip.
Enjoyed this reaction. For we of the older generation, we’d lean more towards the Michael Jackson comparison than JT (who was already influenced by MJ). There are purists who may say they aren’t keen on Dimash taking on this style, but I disagree. It may not challenge Dimash vocally, but it is fun and entirely appropriate for someone Dimash’s age. As Dears, we can’t expect masterpieces every time. We need Dimash to have fun too. Anyhow, fun reaction.
I agree totally. It was well said about purists. This song has really shown that there are a whole bunch of purists, moralists and those who are worried about Dimash possible degeneration... 🙄 Well, it's only a one song! I bet that the next one is again different...
For those who love Dimash, another must see singer is Zhao Shen from China. Because of his small stature, feminine disposition and voice, he was often bullied in school. Never thinking that he had what it takes to be a singer, he went tot he Ukraine to become a dentist. While there, he was convinced that he did have a great singing ability, thus transferred his major to music. Thank goodness he did. As an introduction into Zhao "Charlie" Shen, begin with his premiere performance on the Voice of China singing HuanYan. After this first video, move on to his versions of "Memory", and "Time to Say Goodbye". For something different from him, watch his version of "Let It Go" and "Monsters". Last, but definitely not least (there is so much more from him), enjoy the videos, "This is Me" and a very unique and fun song (one of my favs) "Da La Beng Ba". His biggest success is the song "Big Fish".

There are purists who may say they aren’t keen on Dimash taking on this style, but I disagree. It may not challenge Dimash vocally, but it is fun and entirely appropriate for someone Dimash’s age. For those who love Dimash, another must see singer is Zhao Shen from China. Because of his small stature, feminine disposition and voice, he was often bullied in school. Never thinking that he had what it takes to be a singer, he went tot he Ukraine to become a dentist. While there, he was convinced that he did have a great singing ability, thus transferred his major to music. Thank goodness he did.
As an introduction into Zhao "Charlie" Shen, begin with his premiere performance on the Voice of China singing HuanYan. After this first video, move on to his versions of "Memory", and "Time to Say Goodbye".
For something different from him, watch his version of "Let It Go" and "Monsters".
Last, but definitely not least (there is so much more from him), enjoy the videos, "This is Me" and a very unique and fun song (one of my favs) "Da La Beng Ba". His biggest success is the song "Big Fish".

The idea behind the “Be with Me” arrangement comes from Dimash (composer). He did a demo and added a dombra part. Yerlan Bekchurin, his friend and permanent arranger, got to work. He said, 'I think that deep down we were all inspired by the work of Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones and Stevie Wonder ...'
Dimash commissioned Jordan Arakelyan and Dauren Shamuratov to write the lyrics for the composition. Jordan wrote the most important English texts and Dauren wrote Kazakh rap.
The story on stage was a love triangle: two girls - complete opposites (blonde and brunette) who fight for the man's attention. Then the girls' friends appear. These return to their lovers, and the main character is left alone in search of his true and non-volatile love. 🌼🇩🇪
