Unless you have headless chicken allies that will feed Saber, I don't think he is really as effective against Nolan since his Ult is a 'counter' to his ult.

Loved using 3rd skill as a gap closer rather than the finisher, just some bonus stylish points and besides it's good for catching enemies
Nolan is obviously balanced and not ban-worthy, but epical glory will ban this guy like arlott (except arlott is a lil bit stronger)
Anyways, his potential is much much more than most heroes because of his skillsets.
True but he can only kill squishy heroes quickly and yes he can purify cc but if he gets follow up cc and damage even God can't save him lmao not ban worthy in high rank
He also has a weakness where he can't chase high movement speed mm like irrithiel and wanwan and wanwan skill 2 mechanic
And unlike most assassins, he's fine with a semi-tank build or even full tank build I think. Either way, he's fine with all builds depending on his team's composition.
I just used Nolan and it was good until you end up with an enemy with a good tank and phoveous which is annoying since his tanky and deals massive damage

Its honestly better if they team up because nolan does slight pull when passive actives! But I didnt test it though

Arlott skills are chase dash, it means he actually doesn't have a proper blink to escape.
@@Ornyl He still has them, again with multiple ccs and way better sustainability than Nolan. I can one-shot Nolan with Eudora, Arrlot meanwhile will heal so much right after my stun and then proceed to one-shot me... Nolan can escape if he has ult. But every pro burst mage user will indeed, make sure that he's ult is not in the picture.
@@smaras you can one shot any assasin with eudora if they don't have Athena..
But why do people still use assasins?
Becuz high mobility in exchange for low health and no sustain, is still one of the best trade and btw I never died to a Eudora as Nolan, that Nolan must have been shiit to die from Eudora of all heroes 🤣.

I tried Tankcelot build for Nolan, and it is situational but effective.
Bet he would work perfectly with novaria
I've seen him getting banned so much already its hilarious
Additional note
The main hero's I've used to counter him are Julian and Dyrroth in jungle.
Julian can escape and burst quite easily if you build him properly and Dyrroth can usually outsustain and pressure him
Agree on dyrroth being counter to nolan, man is chasing me until I'm out of energy.

Julian isn't bad at chase either but the main thing is his escape and engage potential
Or use phoveous his tanky and has good damage against nolan

If they decide to adjust him, I want him to have reduced ult dmg but Instantly unlock his passive upon cast
Well correction: nolan can counter saber because, he can just press ult even when he is airborne basically just purify his ult
Well saber is pretty much the ultimate counter for any heroes who aren't tanky

Damage would still be intact. Either build Antique Cuirass or force him to use his ult on tanky heroes.

I use pitrify for side lane it quite good
I actually wanna add a combo that I was using to dominate the enemy team it's:
E basic attack + ult + 2nd skill + 1st
You go back and forth like paq you can dodge without intending to dodge
I recently purchased Nolan, he seems pretty good his skill cd is very low 😲 I love to use him as a tank/roamer or side laner rather than jungler 😅
A very good timing would be a perfect attack when using this new hero
I consider the build with critical to be the best in my opinion, because it makes him much less dependent on energy, the build I do on him is: Cooldown boot, heptaseas, endless battle, dragon spear, berserker, and malefic roar. With these builds, it deals 2k critical damage and continues with considerable skill damage.

so Nolan is almost op in the late game but weaker in early game. So I thought maybe tanky heroes that can annoy jungler to farm like Hilda can counter him since his power spike is on level 2 (for squishy heroes of course). Also, Kaja maybe can counter him since he can suppress heroes easily and move them to Kaja allies. I actually want to add Franco for his counter, but because Nolan have insane dashes it makes harder for Franco to use his skill 1 to Nolan (but if you really pro using Franco and suppress him before using skill 1 that's ok). For me, Nolan is not too op but not weaker also. Since he have CC immunity, have insane damages and mobility making him good to use. But you need a lot of times to practice his combos and when to use his ultimates. Also, Nolan is one of the squishy heroes so if Nolan got stunned (while his ultimate is on cool down), it's over for him.

= I think Nolan's Counter is:
-Khufra (to block his dashes)
-Kaja or Franco (ambush him using their suppressed skills)
-Any Heroes that have it's power spike in early game

I bought Nolan the second he released that Mf dominates mid and early game
I would say that Nolan would be good in low ranks since no one has map awareness and everyone plays squishy immobile heroes but in high ranks where every mistake can cost you a lot and where every marksman will evade you with flicker the moment you try to combo without any stun, he's not the best choice.
Actually: 6:50 i countered a Uranus as Fighter with Nolan... so i guess it's possible with the right time?

Nolan combo: First skill + passive dash/damage + basic attack + ulti + second skill + first skill. Best use when you are close to the target enemy, in team fight, or you have flicker or petrify battle spell.
It's like Julian in a new skin.

No, it's quite horrible actually. It's totally fcked up. He is a spell caster, but he get way more sustain with haas claws somehow, which makes you think that montoon messed up something, as haas claws doesn't make sense in a spellcaster build, as he can't trigger crits with his combo.
I don't think that bloodlust axe is needed just use festival of blood talent if you want the spellwamp

Nolan is more busted than Arlott in his first release. He can remove all the debuffs and CC with ulti and can escape when needed, something Arlott can't do.
@@alexanderliew3415arlott doesn't even need damage build to deal a lot of damage when first released even more that its sustain is so high it wont die to 5 enemies that easily and could kill atleast 1 or 2 before death

Is his passive considered as dash? Because phoveus would be a good teammate for him because he makes enemies get displaced like akai's ult

@@quibble9003 it actually works both ways since the passive moves the enemies which counts as a dash but since he dashes a lot Phoveus can also counter him

You can even put Festival of Blood for some sustain, emblems are very flexible and I change them often on all heroes, but yes pretty much the same build as Saber/Lance/Haya
he's like martis with that jungle clear speed and cc immunity. as with martis, people will build tank on him.
@@vibra7festival of blood doesn't work well on him, he got more sustain from vampiric. I tried festival of blood and bloodlust axe, and had less regen than haas claws. How, if he is a spellcaster?

Blood lust axe is a must cuz it makes her survive a ton, the rest are just defense items that counter the enemy team
