I am separated from the mother of my kids and I don't want to get married until they are over 18 so that they fight for themselves. I rather have someone looking after them than bringing a step mom to my kids. I will never bring a woman at home without my kids consent

My Dad did the same with us my brother.I’m the youngest of 3 girls & he elected never to remarry after he seperated from my mom.
We grew feeling loved. He dated but refused to remarry.I respect my Dad for not putting us through hell at the hands of another woman.

I also put my life on hold until my son was well educated and an adult, for me to think about myself.Parents need to know that changing partners and exposing your children to those partners is traumatizing to the children,in spite their age. When u decide when your children are still young,u need to marry for your children and not for yourself, someone who will accept and love them as their own.

For me I can not relate with abusive stepmother but I have a stepmother, that women is my mother, she is mothering me the way I need to be motherd. What I mean is there are good people out there and it doesn't matter whether you are a mother or not just be kind

There's something so healing about this interview.
I appreciate how no one is pitting men and women against each other but acknowledging that both need healing.
'A healed woman and a healed man equals a healed nation.' This is such a powerful statement.
A healed society begins with healthy households.
Thank you Tiyiselani for coming out and sharing your story. You have such a calm, healing aura about you.
Madam Speaker, you are looking beautiful! Thank you for this interview.

I'm so glad madam speaker took it there with the point of finding closure. Sometimes confrontations don't give you answers you want to hear and leave you more hurt than healed. Sometimes we have to accept apologies we never received. He needs to heal for himself and don't give her the privilege of enslaving him forever. They might meet and she might not see anything wrong with the way she treated them. I wish him healing , complete healing. For himself ❤

Im also not a fan of hardship 😊 i feel that God can still have me
learn His ways without taking me through the toughest path, but heyii He is God and we are the clay in the poters hands, God always knows better. And you know it was God when you are sustained and preserved throughout the fire that you come out unburned, and no matter how long the hardships may last God will come through.

i really don't understand why as a woman you would love a man but hate his seed. that's so wicked. this thing brings curses to the beloved children who didn't ask their mom to treat you badly. most of their kids are not even successful because of their wickedness. also as a man why would you take kids from their mom that's wicket let the kids be raised by their mom and when they grow up they can choose who they want to sty with. i have a friend who went though this, her brother even got molested in the process, she was almost raped a lot of times thank God she was not raped. ladies please let us repent from such acts. if u can't love his kids or be nice to them make sue they go to someone who will take better care of them this thing is killing families man.

I am so sad as a woman, that some women do such to small children. I kinda understand your pain Tiyi. Like you said, you played a role of big brother and protector to your little sisters. All of a sudden comes someone that will forcefully take that power from you as a "protector" that you saw yourself as. She than turns around and be cruel and abusive to your little sisters, at that point in time you cannot protect or save them, you powerlessly and painfully watched. You went through something really painful and I pray for your complete healing.

@@madams___speaker honestly wish it was easy. Left Zimbabwe came to South africa and avoided people but it didn't work. Now in England and have to be close to someone I've managed to avoid for over 25 years. All the pain started off again

The way I relate to this story is painful. My father knew what was going on but he stood by his wife at our expense. I now have my own child I can honestly say that I don't understand how he could allow his own blood to be treated that way for years. Don't think I will ever understand.

It's very interesting podcast, some Step mother are cruel, and they forgot that the children whom they abused are the one who become successful in life .God has a purpose for their lives as their his,her children too😂😂

I can relate. I think sometimes dads turn a blind eye bcoz they're in love. We were forbidden frm having any contact with our biological mom. It's sad for kids to go through this bcoz of the parents' decisions

Let us observe ourselves, His step mom used to force them to go to church yet she was a cruel woman 😭 .
We are our own worst enemies, don't throw stones just always look inside and change what isn't right in you

I don’t agree with madam speaker and some people who seem to excuse evil behavior as a tool to turn children to God.

I fully understand what you're going through, but please find it in your heart to forgive your mom.
Maybe she tried not leave you guys behind and you might find that the cause of her death was you guys meaning heart attack or stressing too much about you guys and it calls her illness . By forgive her you'll be able to pray and move on with your life❤ 🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤ Time heals

I wish Tiyiselani could expect anything & everything the day he meets his stepmother. She might not be as remorseful as we anticipate, she might be more remorseful than expected or she might implicate people that we though were innocent. I feel he is better off accepting the apology that he has not received because he is doing very well without it anyway.

Ijooo i can relate bo stepmother will make sure you regret why your mom left you behind.the will abuse you mola batlile ka makompo abona from different fathers to come and father you dad only for makompo to take over what belongs to you while u suffer.sometimes i used to explain what was happening mara morena couldn't realize the pain we going through in his absence because the so called wife will tell him lies about us so that he can beat us for something we never did n we were not given chance to explain...and the stepmother will always remind me how a bad mother my mom was until i get to go back to her...that's where i realized there is no best love like your mother's love .i grew up with the anger n i still got...all thanks to my late mom ❤
