Thanks a lot! Yeah some of the coolest posts must have been from that era. It has served as one of several roadmaps for my 90s journey, hope I did it justice. -RiceBondsMntna2Young
Thanks so much! The backdrop just came out of the list - really interesting, beautiful crop by happenstance. Thanks also for taking the time to drop in with your thoughts. Couldn't agree more. -RiceBondsMntna2Young
Appreciate that and appreciate you stopping in. And ys the late 90s were really special. I can't believe it's still such an underground era to collect. -RiceBondsMntna2Young
Haha, might just be, I even checked 1998 EX and 1999 Metal Universe. Appreciate you dropping a comment that made me think and chuckle! -RiceBondsMntna2Young
@@TheEssentialCredentials I mean Bonds adds a little bit of value and prestige too the card as well I guess. In all seriousness, love your pickups as a long-time Bonds collector myself (1991 Donruss Elite and cheaper for my typical pickups).
Great card, info and content. I’m glad this one is in your hands, some cards should just be with certain people/collections and this is one of those. Congrats!
It's always a treat to see you pop up. I'm glad you enjoyed the vid and your opinion about what ought to be is too kind, thank you very much. -RiceBondsMntna2Young
Fantastic grab!!!! BOOM! It’s really high on my want list too! And I know I will have to fight the flippers and wood collectors…. The /100 refractor, believe it or not, isn’t in my PC yet either. One of the highest numbered needs. Blows my mind that I’ve only had a shot at 1 ever.
Really appreciate it! I get the flippers thing but the reference to wood collectors flew over my head lol. Anyways, given how tough these are, it's maybe more mind-blowing that we ever have a shot at these. That said, it is really odd given the ultra rare stuff you've landed in the interim. Where are the hoarders, right? -RiceBondsMntna2Young
@@TheEssentialCredentials wood meaning Kerry wood. The flip side of the Maddux. I know of at least 1-2 Kerry collectors that would go hard for the atomic. Major major score and congrats on that banger
Great video and congrats big time! BUT dude hold the card from the sides. even thumb calluses can give micro lines and thumbprints! but i know it's hard to resist holding!! Hey, The '96 Ultra Htting Machines Gold Medallian is a real tough insert to get also, and a great looking card too! Lastly, I am kinda glad these cards weren't over shadowed by the Precious Metal Gem cards! Oh and what is your opinion about 1997 Score Series II RESERVE COLLECTION cards?
Thanks very much! The Z-2 Axis (which I still need badly and which I think you have already?) would be the only rarer die cut I can think of. To your point though, anyone should feel fortunate to have any of these rare gems we all love, and I am. -RiceBondsMntna2Young
Congrats on the huge pick up! I had a blast putting that Top 20 Toughest Pulls list together years ago…when 90s lovers were all on freedom cardboard.

Huge card! Congrats! 🎉 Would you say that’s the rarest die-cut card that Bonds has? (Outside of 1-1s)
