Dammmmnnn, yes yes rudebwoy! All good, still overseas. Will ping you on Messenger a little later fella, for a catch-up ;) Nearly ten years now, fecking mental!
It would have been nice to see the stickers fully-peeled to see how precise the border is, since you didn't use any bleed. Thanks for the vid though! Is it possible to have the cutter cut immediately following the reg-mark process without having to babysit it until it's ready to cut?
Are you still using the CX-24? I just took mine out but i can't get it working with my windows 7 machine. I'm using the belkin parallel to USB cable. I've tried all sorts of drivers, but no luck...
I am also interested in learning what type of sticker paper you are using, it appears as if the sticker backing you are using is "clear" however I am interested in learning because i am confused if this is Paper OR vinyl you are printing on :) about to go look it up but figured I would ask first
great video, is it possible for you to guide me through to how you did your setup, i'm still trying to get my cx24 back up and running ever since upgrading to win7 64-bit os
Hello, looking for a used CX24 right now but saw its end of life model at Roland. Do you still recommend that model if I can get it for cheap (around 600$CAD) ? It seems it doesn't support Win7/8/10 as well so I would need an older XP computer... Best Regards from Canada
I put DRIVER GX 24 and Schedule Roland cutstoudio 1.04 but I do not have the option auto brand in screen cutter cx 24. what to do to have this option; Thanks a lot
Hi there, Great Video, Can you tell me what material you printed on ? I have the same printer and at the moment i'm looking into getting the same cutter. Also have you printed on Vinyl on the epson ? Thanks
Hi. I have the same machine, but don't have the crop mark option in my menu ! It has A180 firmware installed. And in the calibration options you can calibrate crop mark sensor, so I know it's there ! Do I need older firmware, or firmware for a different model ? Please help ! Thx
@billnis Hi. You can't actually see it in operaion until you set it to look for crop marks. Then the little laser fires up and searches. I'm sure you should have this feature. Please feel free to contact me for any advice I can offer. Always happy to help.
FOR EVERYBODY, put atention some models of CX-24 does not carry the eye sensor, so do not buy if u don;t see the little square under the print head , not all models cx brings the eye sensor
@@pit2002 You can get a conversion cable for LPT to USB but they do not always work. The best bet is to look on eBay or Craigslist for an old laptop/desktop with Windows XP and an LPT port. Guaranteed to work that way.
18 years after I bought my cx24, I discovered it has this function hahahahahaha Oh my God. Thank you for this
Oi Oi what’s happening, been a long time… hope you are well mate!?

Hi, where can get it Cut Studio 1.4 and the optical eye (OPUS) ????

I don't think my CX24 has the OPUS. was that added on later versions?
Is it good plotter or should I get Graphtec fc-8000-75? There only speed diffident or something else, please help me.
THANK YOU
I can pick up this machine for 300$ with vinyl included....is this a good deal for an older model?
tell me what cable did you connect the computer to the roland cx24?
Used the printer port, so a good old fashioned parallel printer cable, not a USB conversion cable (although they may work, can't confirm).
@@UKCheeseFarmer it.s LPT port?
@@pit2002 Yes LPT. I actually purchased an old desktop off eBay for £50.00 running XP. Still works to this day (this video being over ten years old).
my computer does not have such LPT port

I got one question, I wonder my optic eye not able to detect my mark 1?
Did you use the gx24 drivers to run cx24 thanks
Hi. Sorry for the delayed reply. Yes. Used the newer drivers to get everything to work. Bit of playing around bit works fine. :)
what brand of sticker paper are you using?
Is the optical eye also from a GX-24 ?
Yes the CX 24 has the optical eye :)
how to install the plotter cx24 as gx24? please help, and thank you for your reply
Just install the newer GX24 drivers rather than the CX24 driver :)
