Mike... you guys with that orchestra are second to none!! PLEASE MORE OF THAT STUFF! I’m a musician of 38 years Your my new favorite band Your all inspiring Fantastic stuff.. WOW!!!
Amazing vocals ...singing any Steven Tyler song in one live take is a feat all in itself, also the conditioning needed to sing this tune in the middle or at the end of a set is intense...and bravo for not using auto tune , much respect to Jeff
It was DREAM come true for us to be there, the THEATER for life that still "holds fire" . Sorry and worried for you toothache, but you stood as warrior. Best live I've been...
More from this lineup please Mike The best I’ve heard in years Unfortunately the diary of a madman got restricted for copyright stuff but that was bad ass !!! Good stuff man! Glad I heard it before it was restricted
@@qwert4560 You're silly? Please, humor me with your rhetoric & reason how you came to this conclusion, comparing Steven Tyler & Jeff Scott Soto? And don't get it twisted, I dig both Jeff & Steven. Seriously, this ought to be good?
He is an amazing singer with range and power but it takes stones to take this on live with one shot to get it right after a whole tour and set of singing before hand. And its recorded so losers on the internet can slate your performance forever.
@@AJPMUSIC_OFFICIAL I agree, my question is the caliber of musicians in this band, how all of them just said cool sounds great, press it? It's one thing now with all the video & audio bootlegs that people capture on their phones and upload. But, SOA had control of the production on this, and no dis to JSS I believe the same as you on Jeff's ability and when & why this was done and sung. Yet, I can't believe none of them especially Jeff didn't say hey maybe we should take another listen and tweak a few things that they're easily able to do with the tech of today? That I don't get... I realize it's not a rock n' roll thing to do. However, I'm not talking about vocal syncing the whole tracks, just tweaking a few flats & sharps here and there.
@@u.v.s.5583 Could you kindly please re-read my post? Dio is a legendary singer, I don't deny it, and I have heard his cover with Yngwie. I just wrote that Sons of Apollo covered it very well and JSS's voice is still great; no insult to Dio intended here.
Confession time.... 1/.. I've never heard of Sons Of Apollo (sorry) 2/.. I'm now a Sons Of Apollo fan (Hell Yeah) 3/.. Best version i've ever heard from another band
Jesus H Christ that was ... I dunno WTF that was but it was beautiful. Dude knew he didn't have Tyler's range but still rode it like a Kawasaki . I just found these guys. They are in a different league than most. This song holds a special place in my heart and I hate hearing covers of it. But damn Yankee that was .... If I was 30 years younger I woulda smoked a huge bowl got nekkid and of done the holy shit dance.
Drummer Guy Jeff is amazing. I love his rusty voice, it has changed throughout the years which is totally normal. I admire this guy in all his projects!
Agreed. He couldn't pull off Tyler's falsetto, but I don't expect him to. I think the band would be better off playing with the songs rather than going note for note with little moments of improv fill
Mister Portnoy!! Thanks for those years of great music and inspiration!!
Our lives should be absolutely worse without music of DT and various sons !
What a vocal performance. This is an incredibly hard song to sing. And he nailed it. Congrats.
I never thought he'd get the high notes. Respect!!
He didn't
If that's hitting the high notes he fails on everyone. He should apologize to Steve Tyler for this hack.
Best covers of songs from long ago! Great musicians.
Mike... you guys with that orchestra are second to none!!
PLEASE MORE OF THAT STUFF!
I’m a musician of 38 years
Your my new favorite band
Your all inspiring
Fantastic stuff.. WOW!!!
OMG I was worried about him trying Dream On because I didn't think he could do the high part. NAILED IT!
Never underestimate Jeff Scott Soto.
Watching Jeff singing this and hearing how amazing the entire production is, gave me the chills!
this is kickass! Jeff did an awesome job. He also did the Steven Tyler/Marge Simpson screetchy thing
Hahahaha, Marge Simpson. Love it!
I love when a cover stays true to the source, and this is as true as it will ever get.
It’s just a pleasure to watch this. Over and over again!!! Mr Portnoy and Bumblefoot !!

These Plodvid covers songs are so goddamn ace! Thanks guys. Truly a huge respect from Finland. \,,/
That was just as awesome as Comfortably Numb.
I would never normally agree with that, but on this occasion I gotta say they did justice to both 'epics'.
I agree
Don’t know why they cut both these off the dvd
@@denisshannon3626 Maybe to do with copyright/royalties?
@@SentientSeven They are both on the CD...

Thanks, Mike!!! JSS sounds so good - such an awesome chemistry of top-notch musicians and performers! 👏👏👏🎶👌❤️

Excellent Cover!
the location is just awesome.
So beautiful performance!!
Jeff Scott Soto has balls to cover such a difficult and challenging song. He actually did a pretty good job! 👍👍👍
This song isn't very hard for him. He is much more skilled vocalist, than that guy from Aerosmith.

Extremely impressed by your performance! Jeff's vocals are still amazing when compared to his days with Yngwie. Come to Turkey!
Yeah. Ironic, when Yngwie did Dream On, the singer was some guy named Dio. He was too kind of a decent singer.
