Dr. Heavenly is the one who turned the conversation to shade. Quad's position from the beginning is that she doesn't think it's cute to compare a human's looks to a dog so she didn't think it was a compliment that MJ named her dog Toya. When Quad said she wouldn't name her dogs Heavenly, Heavenly seemed to get offended. Why get offended that Quad wouldn't do something she doesn't agree with? If Quad would have said it was a great thing to name a dog after a person and then said she would not name her dogs Heavenly, that would have been shade. Heavenly didn't think in that moment. Love Quad!
