Wow I’ve asked God to show me someone who is teaching about the prophets David and Solomon and so forth. Why did they mess up. In Islam all the prophets where perfect( Abraham, Moses, David etc.) I had a knowledge as to why they weren’t really in the Bible but now I’m gaining understanding. Clicking on this video I was not expecting that. Also preparing my heart is something that I really need to learn. I haven’t been in the word as much as I should and not praying in tongues as long as I have been and just being slothful. I have to stay focused. Today I just praised God for giving me His strength. Thanking Him that when my human strength end His power excels in me. Which then lead me to your video. Such a blessing! On to day 2!

I believe what you are saying faith is like you say i believed with all my heart when i was baptized in the name of jesus that i would receive the holy ghost . i was sixteen yrs old and i did recieve the holy spirit i remember my hands lifted up and my fingers was moving and i heard myself speaking in something i didnt understand i felt like i wasnt in my body I've never forgotten that experience. Im 65 yrs old now and don't go to church but i do believe .

Hard knocks and trial of our faith are different but of the same nature. SAUL was jealous of David and David had to run for his life. This is not hard knock. it's not that David did not learn thru the scriptures so he had to learn thru hard knocks. Joseph was hated by his brothers and was sold as a slave to Egypt . In Egypt Joseph was a slave. Then he was thrown into the prison falsely accused. is it hard knocks ? No. In case of Joseph it's the trial of faith. The word of the Lord tried him. In case of Nebuchadnezzar it's a hard knock. In case of David hunted by SAUL, it's not hard knock. it's David's character and faith being tested.
