Finally somebody touches on the subject of the steering tierod needing to go to the passenger side wheel.

Just got the blue one ,watching and learning 👍🏻
Great Idea!
Sooo realistic mate. Love the video.
Thanks! :)
Nice work... 👍👍👍
Thanks :)
I just did the cantilever mod using your ideas, works awesome just need to cut the bed of the truck now
That's awesome!
very nice
Thanks
G'day m8....just goes to show....with some leftover bits and a covid to keep ya house bound,......Brillance like this comes up......Cheers m8 for the gander at ya cantilever set up...from ya ol m8 here Downunder!!
Thanks. I actually did this build long before Covid was ever thing. I had this video on my old channel and just moved it over to my new channel.
I will be making an updated video soon. A lot has changed with this truck.
WPL are very good value for money. You don't have to spend much more on them to get them to perform! 👍
Very true.
I wouldn’t mind trying to come up with a way to do cantilever In the front but I think you would have to have a shark or a stabilizer for the steering I don’t know I’ll try to do the back first
What gearbox did you use
Hi I thought your cantilever rear suspension was a really good idea so using the pictures/video that you provided
I made the same system for my Fayee Fy002 and I'm very pleased with the results gaining much needed travel
and awesome articulation, have you tried doing the same for the front? do you think there would be any benefit
to it? Thanks very much for the time and effort it takes to share this very useful information, much appreciated!
Mark from Tasmania.
Yes if you did the front suspension too then you would gain a lot more suspension travel just like in the rear. I don't think the truck needs that much articulation so I just decided to only do the rear.
@@TheSmallerCrawlers Ok I think I will give it a go, my Fy002 with rear cantilever suspension lifts its
front left wheel (your drivers side) when turning left did your C14 do the same? I think this is due to torque
twist, what do you think I can do to limit this?
nice! what electronics are you running?
This truck has a FlySky 3ch receiver and the cheap $10 chinese 20A esc with no drag brake.
I use a FlySky GT3B to drive it.
What rims are these? They look sooooo nice
They are 3D printed method beadlocks.
I cannot get that styrene tube to Bend without kinking? What’s your secret? Lol thanks a bunch for your insight! And mods ideas
I wrapped aluminum foil around the tube but exposed just the plastic at the bend. Then use a hot air gun on low setting and as soon as the plastic is plyable you have to bend it and set it. Too much heat will cause it to kink.
@@TheSmallerCrawlers hey thank you, thank you for replying to! Makes sense now, I’m new with the styrene, that really helps, trick of the trades…
@@jeremyoshea7941 yeah I messed up a few times before I came up with a method that worked. I also remember I had to tape a metal funnel to my hot air gun to focus the heat on a small area.
Now can I get this custom made link rods on thingiverse bud ? As I'm bin trying every were as I got the link arms but there a lot thicker then yours and I have a 2 speed gearbox the same and the rods on the sorve side it's in the way the sorve is and it's doing my head in bud
The suspension links in this video are the stock plastic links that come with the truck. They should work just fine with the 2 speed.
Where did you get your rims
I 3D printed them
What wheels are you using?
I literally said in the video. They are 3D printed
You are a genius I hope you don’t mind me asking to copy your idea I like the stock component to myself those other links are Way out of proportion for scale
I dont mind at all :)
Is that the stock bumper?
Yeah it is the bumper that comes with the C14.
Can you put a link to the wheels
They are on thingiverse. I custom 3D printed them.
Metal links look more to scale buddy
It really depends on which links you get. WPL metal links from the C34 do look more scale. But there is a cheap set of metal links a lot of people use that are just too big and dont look scale at all.
Do you know we’re I can find the bed for it
You can buy body parts from WPL-RC.com but they are not taking orders for another couple weeks.
The Smaller Crawlers ok thanks for all your help by the way I can’t wait to start my build
Brooooo where can i get that kind of beadlock?
They are 3D printed wheels. Not a real beadlock though.
@@TheSmallerCrawlers ohh where can i buy it it looks so gooooooodddd
50$ on Banggood right now. Then how much to make it actually worth playing with
Probably another $50 to $100... Depending on how you want to build it.
You dont thinking about made that cantilver better for 3d printer? some one can use your projects or you can made is better
This works just fine. It does not need to be made better.
And what engine
In this video, the truck has a 370 size motor with the 2 speed gearbox.
где такие колеса купить?
English please.
@@TheSmallerCrawlers where can I buy such wheels?
These wheels were 3D printed. The file is on Thingiverse.
@@TheSmallerCrawlers The discs are printed and how you colored it and how the two can share technology in the Commons!
Its one single 3D printed wheel that I painted by hand.
