I've visited Ukraine many times since before 2022 and many times after - and dating is not easier, except maybe with goldiggers but who wants that. I have dated many ukrainian women in the Uk and stayed friends with many of them and helped and supported them in finding new homes and donated furniture etc .I have had my heart broken by a Ukrainian women too but stayed friends .
I’m not sure why some of you guys are disagreeing with Olga. Everything that she is saying is accurate. I’ve been living in Ukraine since 2016; I speak both Russian and Ukrainian fluently. Many, many women have told me that there are simply fewer men to date. Especially women in the 30-35 age range feel urgency to find a husband and start a family. And it is true, at any moment a Ukrainian guy can be taken off the street and sent to basic training. I know this, because they tried to take me one day. Ukrainian women often say that they want to feel that with their husband they are behind a stone wall. How can she feel this way if her man can be taken away at any moment?
I am recently separated, not divorced yet, and I have thought it might be nice to date a Ukainian woman. The issue I have is, say I bring her to the USA, what is she leaving behind. Perhaps family living abroad either in the Ukraine or another country. Does she have an ex husband fighting in the war, what were their reasons for divorce? Do they have any kids together? How does this affect the ex husband fighting in the war?
Please get your divorce and get your life straight first before dating. I speak from experience. I should have waited. Divorces take awhile (3+ years often) and best not to start dating until done because you can't be serious, even if you find Ms. Right, until you are legally divorced from X-wife. Until divorced you won't have your finances or life really in order either to even begin to be your best self until the divorce is completed. Divorces take alot if time and emtional energy too. Ukrainian women are by no means desperate even in war and will expect you to be your best, reliable, and fully a man; she will be counting on you. Her having kids can really complicate a relationship especially the older the kids are; many factors there and more relationships you must be considerate of. I was able to make it work, and most will have kids, but be aware when you start its definitely a package deal and you take responsibility and expenses for all. Make sure you are committed to kids and can afford to do this well and think about this up front. Not for everyone. And parents and other family are often huge considerations too, especially if only child and even if not; families are very close in Ukraine. Be aware of all this up front, she is making huge changes in her life for you and commitments back home can be very difficult for her to manage and she will need your full support with her family. The sooner yiu try ti figure all this out in the relationship the better for all. Ukrainian women can definitely be the the most awesome choice though for an American. After 6 years, 10 trips to EU together, thru COVID travel bans, thru war problems, K-1/K-2 almost finished, and we'll finally be married in early 2025. She's a great woman; elegant, loving and feminine and worth everytging for me... 🇺🇲💙💛🇺🇦
Since the war the USA's Uniting for Ukraine program definitely makes it easier to bring her here if you decide to marry and can adjust status then. But for some situations it won't work if she has dependent kids that will be 18 thru 21 when you marry. You will not be able to give kids permanent residence through marriage in this situation unless you do K-1/K-2 visa program. And if dependent kids over 21 there is no guaranteed permanent residence program for them. K visa path requires more time, but this past year USCIS has gotten much, much faster with these which is really good (less than 8 months). Again, learn and study all this before dating in Ukraine, because she will be counting on you to know all this and make this process work. You can add to misery of her life even more than war possibly if you bring her here and aren't fully prepared to carry through with caring for her. It can be a bit overwhelming at first to learn about the immigration process, but many resources; books, government websites and online video blogs. Whatever you do, please, DO NOT use pay for letters or pay to chat to meet Ukrainian women; it is always a scam. Think of them as similar to prostitute sites that you are paying for male entertainment essentially; you should never be paying to talk to a woman if the relationship is real. Use instead free pen pal sites or free European dating sites but even then be cautious. You must absolutely be prepared to go and meet her somewhere in Europe within a couple months of first writing and chatting to make sure she is real (and not Sergei hiding behind woman pictures and begging you for your hard earned money alot) Be prepared to help her travel to you and to take care of her; people earn almost nothing in Ukraine compared to USA, and you need to be prepared to take care of her whenever traveling. Be careful with money though until you really know her. I can't tell you enough there are many ways to scam us, but at some point to you must begin to trust. Don't ever spend what you can not afford to lose if things do not work out. Poland is awesome for a first meeting; close and relatively easy for her to reach by train. Your roundtrip flights can be $500 or less in right season from USA. Old town Krakow and Warsaw are absolutely amazing places, safe and very affordable. Does she like nature and skiing more than cultural sites, or maybe both? Then Zakopane and the High Tatras Mountains of Poland are like the Alps and are really nice to add to the trip too. Learning to ski is very inexpensive in Poland. Do be a man and help her once you meet and are certain you can trust her. Finding a Ukrainian wife definitely takes much effort, but very well worth it. Remember to enjoy every step of the journey, and its complications, and not just the destination. 💙💛🇺🇦😁

My sister and friend, who went thru divorce both said the same thing, try to work thru the divorce and separation of property on your own, because once you get the lawyers involved you'll end up paying $25K minimum in lawyers fees. I just came back from Germany, where I was for one month. I went there to visit my friend, who is a Ukrainian Dr. She has lived there, since the war began, with her two daughters. Now tho, she has a German boyfriend, but she introduced me to many Ukrainian woman, who are refugees. And you are exactly correct, in this video. I went to Ukraine every summer, for twelve years, before the war. I tried for several years to meet aa girl online, but things never worked out. I did make friends with the Dr., but it was only platonic. Already, I'm planning to go back there again, not only to meet Ukrainian woman, but to practice speaking Russian, with so many refugees. They are so thankful to be there, and the German government is very helpful for them.

What I’ve heard is: all pay per letter chats are scams IF WITH UKRAINIANS. A good site is “a foreign affair” aka “loveme”. Even there chats WITH UKRAINIANS are scams. Other chats seem more legit. What this site has is a good tour program. What people recommend is doing the tour and going there to their dating event. That seems very legit.
I wish UKR and Russia come to an agreement. Hearing Olga say UKR men are dragged from the street is saddening. A generation of UKR young are already dead.

I was in Ukraine this past summer. I was fortunate enough to take many wonderful women to dinner and get to know them. I'd usually be the only American in the whole city I'd be in, and that curiosity alone, to why I was in Ukraine during the war, would cause women to want to get to know me.
I'm in Kiev now, and have been for months. And I was also here a few months ago. I have been coming here for almost 20 years and even lived here years ago. It has never been so hard to meet women, get a date, get intimacy, etc than ever before! You can meet women out in public, if you are lucky enough to find a girl who isn't plugged into her ear buds, has her phone glued to her ear, or head tucked down and never looking up while she is doing mindless texting and scrolling. According to the numbers, around 17 million people left, most of them being single women. I read online that 60% came back, but that is still a deficit of several millions of women, making dating harder for men here. It seems like all the good ones are taken (married or relationship) or are lesbians. Good thing is, many are coming back from where they fled to, if they are not able to find a man and get married where they migrated. My former fiance is a Ukr girl, and since the start of the war she moved to where I'm from, Houston. She is married to a doctor. And another woman I dated before the war started also went to the US, and is now married.
I agree. I remember how it was in Ukraine before social media and it was so much better socially. A lot of the direct, fun and generally wholesome attitudes have been replaced with nonsense ideas and keeping-up with "influencers", never-ending insta posing everywhere and corresponding decline in general attitudes. I just came back from Germany, where I was for one month. I went there to visit my friend, who is a Ukrainian Dr. She has lived there, since the war began, with her two daughters. Now tho, she has a German boyfriend, but she introduced me to many Ukrainian woman, who are refugees. And you are exactly correct, in this video. I went to Ukraine every summer, for twelve years, before the war. I tried for several years to meet aa girl online, but things never worked out. I did make friends with the Dr., but it was only platonic. Already, I'm planning to go back there again, not only to meet Ukrainian woman, but to practice speaking Russian, with so many refugees. They are so thankful to be there, and the German government is very helpful for them.

What I’ve heard is: all pay per letter chats are scams IF WITH UKRAINIANS. A good site is “a foreign affair” aka “loveme”. Even there chats WITH UKRAINIANS are scams. Other chats seem more legit. What this site has is a good tour program. What people recommend is doing the tour and going there to their dating event. That seems very legit.

This video gives me the impression that we are encouraging western men to take advantage of a tragic situation in UKR. Most of the UKR men and some of the women have gone off to fight the RUS menace, a lot have unfortunately died, and even for those that haven't, we now seem to be encouraging western men to 'steal' the women left behind. This to me sounds like people fighting over someone's belongings after a relative has died. It is beyond sick to me. I was in Ukraine this past summer. I was fortunate enough to take many wonderful women to dinner and get to know them. I'd usually be the only American in the whole city I'd be in, and that curiosity alone, to why I was in Ukraine during the war, would cause women to want to get to know me.

I'm in Kiev now, and have been for months. And I was also here a few months ago. I have been coming here for almost 20 years and even lived here years ago. It has never been so hard to meet women, get a date, get intimacy, etc than ever before! You can meet women out in public, if you are lucky enough to find a girl who isn't plugged into her ear buds, has her phone glued to her ear, or head tucked down and never looking up while she is doing mindless texting and scrolling. According to the numbers, around 17 million people left, most of them being single women. I read online that 60% came back, but that is still a deficit of several millions of women, making dating harder for men here. It seems like all the good ones are taken (married or relationship) or are lesbians. Good thing is, many are coming back from where they fled to, if they are not able to find a man and get married where they migrated. My former fiance is a Ukr girl, and since the start of the war she moved to where I'm from, Houston. She is married to a doctor. And another woman I dated before the war started also went to the US, and is now married.
I agree. I remember how it was in Ukraine before social media and it was so much better socially. A lot of the direct, fun and generally wholesome attitudes have been replaced with nonsense ideas and keeping-up with "influencers", never-ending insta posing everywhere and corresponding decline in general attitudes. Oh well, "progress" I guess. I'm just grateful I got to experience Ukraine before all this.
