This is literally gambling. It's horrible. Not to mention that they added another rarity above Mythic to get more power creep and microtransactions. This game has been driven into the ground.

@@peterhansen1152 That building was removed months ago and no one has it now. But if you try to visit your friend's island from your profile, that building still shows up, its just a glitch. Coming to decoration question, island landscape and decoration changes when you are visiting their island. You can think of it as spectate mode and has got nothing to do with beta.
hoard gems onto infinity. 4 gems a day , from dailys. 27 gems each week on easy dungeon. 41 legendary dungeon iirc weekly also. growth spurt (also weekly ) 20 gems. gold fever 20 gems (but can miss it for lack of gold production ) twice a month. top 5000 on gold runes 25 (weekly , i heard it can be done with lvl x rune , but likely than not you're not there , but it'd be worth a shot using clan shop lvl 8 runes instead) era saga apparently 80 gems monthly , but you gotta have the monsters on the required book and complete it , adventurers 1 is already 50 gems if completed. Now to the ranking gems. growth spurt , 25 gems from ranking , or maybe more if you're a veteran. gold fever , likewise but much harder. love season , do you have 3-4 hatchery slots , a decently upgraded breeding temple and a mythic breeding pair ? then you can easily get some gems from ranking with 3 mythics bred) , twice a month like gold fever , or every two weeks rather. not let's do some addition to calculate monthly. 4/day x 30 = 120 27 x 4 = 108 41 x 4 = 164 20 x 4 = 80 20 x 2 = 40 (gold fever can be missed , but growth spurt is harder to fail) 25 x 2 (love season top 5000 is too easy if you got the resources.) add it all up = 348 monthly , give it a bit less or bit more considering your level of progression and if something like era dungeon is available (changes every season I think , it's the one I said it can give up to 80) and with potencial to get more from rankings if you're veteran enough or prepare enough (scholar apple was really good for food , probably what was used for the ranking tops to get their food , but it's not always available)

I got lucky and i lost 20 gems but profitted 5 gems overall but also got the grand prize mosnter.
