So cool, this takes me back to my childhood in the early 70s when I was put on the back of a bike for the first time. It happened to be an old school Triumph chopper
@@weemsmotorco It's how I got hooked on bikes, 10 years old, short pants, no shirt, no shoes, biker hauling ass around the suburban blocks with me on the back like a puppy with two tails. They were my dad's work mates, vietnam vets who smelled like "funny" tobacco. For all their demons they bought back they always had time for me.
In my opinion, this is one of the, if not the best video you have put out there so far. It is a perfect mix between explanations and fabrications. Also to see how the fab parts fits and looks is a bonus. I just love this Bobber. Simple design and not too crusty. A little bit of patina looks good too much sometime looks sloppy. Yours is perfect. @@weemsmotorco thanks for putting a heart on my comment.. it means allot to me.. always love seeing your builds.. so inspirational.. wish I could do something like that myself..
your commentary is lively, entertaining, and helpful. i miss old bikes. i can generally make them run. looking at this bike, i wish i had an older triumph. so cool chopped down to near nothing.
I love the look of this bike! There was a similar Pre Unit in the 1969 Choppers magazine back when I was a kid. It pretty much looked like this except it had a cobra style seat. Super simple, Peanut tank Bates tail and headlight with TT style pipes, everything else was Triumph. Perfect. 😎
I always liked those old triumph levers, I wanna get a set for my shovel one day and make them fit I think. Also have one of the junction box cable splitters sitting on the shelf in my shop lol. I think that’s what they’re called anyway 🤔 Good vid! I usually miss the premieres cause I’m at church when they come on.
I know a guy who’s in his seventies and rides a 1948 framed Triumph 650 chop that he’s had since about 1975….. rides the hell outta it when he’s sober enough to!
You know something jared ,sometimes i REALLY hate you !!!, you always manage to find and build a lovely looking (to me anyway 😁)old triumph, you just happen to have a spare triumph engine ,spare triumph frame ,wheels, tank ,seat ,exhaust and all the other parts !!!!,me ..do i have an old triumph ???....NO BECAUSE MR JARED WEEMS HAS ALL THE TRIUMPH SPARES IN HIS GARAGE !!!! 😁😁😁. but you are a friend so i wont cry (to much 😁). MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY 🎅🤶🧑🎄!!! Peace out ✌️
i did enjoy the music but i do prefer you tell us what your doing. but pleas tell me your going to cover that primary chain my step brother lost his thumb up to the knuckle in one like that
@@weemsmotorco hey mate you wont have choice in a collision if you have a promise or not. just saying a belt hmm a chain no no. im only grilling you because i care my freind.
I have a story for you that you might be interested in. I have about 3 1/2 old (1967/68) Triumps. I wanted to build a 70’s style chopper for my military son when I retired. My health has taken a turn for the bad. Please contact me. I need your help.
I don't believe that you talk too much it's just "when" you do all the talking, I would like your videos better if you explained what you're doing while you are doing them not just rambling along before or after you actually do them. Thanks for the content.

Nice background music to watch you creating motorcycle magic, personally I love hearing you share the How & Why you do what you do
Glad you enjoy it!
Great job uncle Jared.. haven't been here for a while.. things are a bit upside down.. love the bike, cant wait to see and hear it run..
Thanks, it's just a pile of parts right now but I'll be sure to get it running!
@@weemsmotorco thanks for putting a heart on my comment.. it means allot to me.. always love seeing your builds.. so inspirational.. wish I could do something like that myself..
Great to see. We are also putting a rigid pre unit together mostly from bits I've been collecting for ever. Very encouraging. Cheers
That sounds awesome!
I love your creativity! Your videos keep me entertained in the North here in western NY ! But I’m a Harley guy!😊
Thanks, glad you enjoy the videos!
Build awesome stuff. And keep the history present.
That is the goal!

Thanks, you should look at building one!
Top Notch video from The Maestro.
The music was the best I've heard this week.
The Jury is really coming along, brother.
☮
Thanks for watching!
Jury is looking sweet , Merry Christmas to the whole Weems Family !

Those Triumph levers are pretty neat!
Loving the Bike, turning out real cool. Best part is it looks like a surviver from the 60's. Fantastic pile of part's indeed. 😁👌
I appreciate that! It was a pile of parts for sure but it's coming together nicely!
Beautifully done ❤
I appreciate it!
Better than any new bike it looks really great, every ride will be a smiler!!!
You know it!
Very cool bike. Very inspired.
Thank you! I appreciate you checking it out!
Haters are gonna hate, you be you my man i don't mind hearing your voice it's easy listening to and full of information
Thanks for the support!
It looks like the seat might bottom out on the fender ? But like the bike so far.
It’s a work in progress, but thanks for the feedback!
It's good when you have the knowledge to all this stuff... Great video!!!
It is all about the process, not just the end result!
Cool looking bike
Thanks Johnny!
Great job, Jared
Thanks Corey!
Love this build, every vid is gold. i am back home now, gotta do some catching up. :0)
I'm glad you enjoy the videos!
That sure didn't take long, have a blessed week my friend
Time flies when you’re having fun!
Fun video, thanks Weems. Merry Christmas :)

Yeah, I was thinking about how much wrenching was happening and the you said it. Spoz I'll be watching either way.
Hope you enjoy them Scott!
I was gonna call this a hipster bike BUT you actually built this thing so kudos
I do my best!
I bet that fender is going to be comfy :D
There is a Pillion Pad coming!
I was gonna say: your wife must have a tiny backside and the balance of a trapeze artist.😁
Beautiful bike 👍🏻👌🏻
Sitting in the car with Austin listening to his new album
Yup.
Hell yeah awesome video
Thanks Bill!!!
Lookin good... wondering what you have in store for the exhaust
It's going to be interesting, that’s for sure!
Great job. Can I ask what the rake on the front end is. To me it's the perfect stance
We discuss that in the first episode of this build. Go back and check it out.
35 degrees, from 26 degrees, thanks
Forget the complainers, keep explaining, brother.
I’ll try to be more descriptive in future videos!
Don't you need a passenger seat for the rear fender?
That is coming for the next video!!!
Dude, don't listen to the jealous. The galleries, are full of critics.
They are!!!
wouldn't you quench those heated and bent parts?.
Possibly depending if they are load bearing!
Very cool sir. Building a Hinckley Triumph chopper right now. Currently waiting on a girder front end. I dig your style. Any tips?
So awesome to hear you doing a modern Triumph custom build!! Tips…do what you love!!!
I always enjoy watching fabrication! Way to repurpose stuff you got hangin around.
It's always fun to build something new from old parts!

why this Chopper without Front Brake?
We are keeping old school and sketchy!
The answer is in the question. "Chopper" is the answer.
Are you in Tampa? If so, I could really use your help.
I am, whatcha need!?
Shoot me a message through my website or on Instagram!

Thanks Adrian
Great video as always, really love the stuff you do, but as a Brit I find it bizarre, that you have to have a mirror but not a front brake!
Fair enough, we have weird laws in the states!
Sometimes, it is not about HOW MUCH a person says...but WHAT a person says...0:12 "let's get some controls on the jury"...HIGHLY ILLEGAL!
LoL. That is too funny!
i have a complete front wheel assy for a 69 triumph 650.interested?

Here I am trying not buy a 79 triumph engine for $500 and then I see this video
I think you should go for it!
