This is the best and excellent video especially the content. It helps me to showcase my skills and experiences. This is exactly the feedback coming from the hiring manager in my previous job interview demonstrate to us your skills using your actual work experience not from the textbook.
A point of correction: All business Analysis work are not being done in the context of PROJECT. This needs to be corrected. Lots of BA work are done both before project (where the BA is analyzing an organisation, a problem or opportunity and recommending solutions) and after project (SOLUTION EVALUATION, Benefit/Value Realization etc)
Another point of correction for you @Bola Adesope : I thought you wanted to say; All BA work are not done in a project set up, that some BA work could be B.A.U type of work. You mixed things up by saying: - Lots of BA work are done both before project (where the BA is analyzing an organisation, a problem or opportunity and recommending solutions) and after project (SOLUTION EVALUATION, Benefit/Value Realization etc). All those stuff you mentioned are points in a project. BA work could either be project based or B.A.U
Hi Bola, Sorry for not replying on time. Yes. You are correct. Any work that is done prior to the project initiation is called differently (Pre-Project Phase, Discovery Phase etc). But most of the times, Business Analyst may not be hired during this phase of the project. Often time, this kind of work in done internally by people who are close to the problem that is being solved or any opportunity that they are planning to exploit.
