@@syedwirzan9271 depends on the application, trying to connect to a tv? different computer? phone? etc, I cant list all here but I know of some alternatives for connect to other pc's with your screen extended so the other computer acts as a second display, and same with phones or tablets, but otherwise, I haven't found much on the subject

When a PC is wired on LAN on a router with WIFI, it should have worked without WIFI dongle.

Xbox One however supports Miracast over wired LAN.

my hp win 10 laptop has similar problems. Wi-fi is always on yet i have never been able to cast to the laptop on my home network. tried your method and still says "We are still trying to determine the features capabilities." second issue is that i am usually able to project my laptop onto my TV via connect to a wireless display. Now when i try to project the laptop, I don't get the option to "connect to a wireless display". Plz help. I have searched online. I was once told by an HP technician of a way to release static from the laptop during start up.
But what if I have Wi-Fi enabled and I still get this device, it doesn't support receiving Miracast, so you can't project wirelessly, what can I do? :(

1) as he said, make sure you got WI-FI on
2) make sure you turn off airplane mode
after that I could mirror my screens.

One more thing. Windows 10 on wired LAN supports WIFI through WIFI Router from phones as standard.
It's just disabled for Miracast only.

Perhaps you can answer this question I purchased from Amazon a monitor called Virzen I was supposed to be able to hook it up to my phone to my computer or Playstation or even a DVD player. Yet I receive no connection on the monitor. My computer recognizes it but will not connect with monitor? My phone needed an adapter for the USB. To convert to usb C. I bought an adapter. Yet nothing happens. No connection I looked into the settings and for some reason? The on the phone PC Sharing by usb cable. The monitor It won't stay on long enough. I can't hook it up. There's always a possibility that my computer and my phone are incompatible as well as the DVD player yet I stay with the belief that it has to be something simple that I'm overlooking. I need an extra pair of eyes or Someone with far more intelligence then myself to figure this one out. Can you help Are you this person.

I got the same error, how to fix this
check your access control list from the device which is connected to router with the ethernet cable if ur device's Mac Address is not available then add your device's Mac Address then apply the changes and see if it works bc i had same prob too and this is how I fixed it, hope it helps

this does not work unless you have a built in wifi adapter. if you usually run ethernet, it will not work. if you are having this issue on a custom built PC, it is because you need a wifi adapter.

i was looking for solutions for hours and tried everything: drivers updating which were already fine, i were into downloading miracast from unsure places like apk and use bluestacks and you came man . Very appreciate this short and helpful video. But i wonder something my pc is connected with the router via cable and the other devices wireless doesn't that count like wireless miracast avaible way
