You suggest BeyerDynamic DT 770 80 or 250 ohm? Also, is there a better alternative instead of BeyerDynamic DT 770 to use in combo with Mackie ProFX10v3? Thanks for the great tutorials about Mackie ProFX10v3!!
Thanks for this video. I just purchased this Mackie and have also the Beyer 990pro headphones. Question can I pan the headphones in the Mackie to have more sound on the right channel of the headphones due to a hearing problem? Really looking forward to watch your other videos -;)
I really hope somebody here can help. I am having a hard time managing the sound from my pc to my headphones and speakers. I have my headphones plugged into phones, and my speakers plugged into the main out. I have the audio coming into line 3-4 from my computer and the "to phones/cr" button is in the UP position and my blend knob in the middle. That setup gives me audio out of both my speakers and headphones. I can turn my headphones up and down without affecting the speakers, but if I adjust the main volume knob to change my speaker volume, it also changes my headphones. If i push IN the "to phones/cr" i dont get any audio through my phones. I can also output my audio to line 1-2 instead. When using line 1-2, i have my blend knob in the middle, and my "to phones/cr" button pushed IN and i can control my headphone volume with the phones knob. but i get no audio to my main speakers. Ultimately I would just like my computer audio to come out of my speakers and headphones at the same time, and allow me to use the main and phones knob to turn them up or off independently of each other. Any help would be appreciated! :)
Hey! So i play in a band where we normally have >6 mics. 3 of the members play violin AND sing in the and mic.. Everything always sounds perfect when 1 person is singing but as soon as two or more people start singing, it starts clipping.. How would you go about fixing this?
How do I monitor 1 channel at a time with this mixer. I have radiodj coming in on input/line 2. But I can’t turn down the main outs because it feeds another source.
I'm aware that you can take a lead from the monitor out into a headphone amplifier. You can adjust the monitor volume on each channel that you want to listen to. This allows you to pfl. Would a pair of headphones under 32ohms plugged into the monitor out allow me to bypass the headphones amp? Thanks@@kettnercreative
Issue. I’m having 3 XLR mics plugged into my Mackie pro fx10 v3. Then I plug the 3 pairs of headphones into line in 1,2, and 3 and only here my own audio in one ear. When I want to hear the audio of all XLR mics. How can I fix this
Jared with all my answers, ALWAYS. My one stop audio shop. You're the best.
how do you use headphone to listen to the different chanels. as a dj i need to be able to do so.
Awesome work, always testing different setups. Thank you.

If you want to pan the headphones, you'd need to pan each individual channel.
Wish I saw this before getting the scarlet solo, that one is not enough for 250ohm headphones...but great video as always.
Yeah, we're doing a video on the Scarlett Solo soon, but you're right - it works for music/editing, but not for vocal monitoring.
I got the same Mackie model. Great!
will a smaller version like a 6 channel instead of a 10 channel keep the same power?
Good Job, Love Mackie and am looking to buy an Onyx ProFX3 or OnyxMixerNew or Onyx audio interface and your videos are very helpful!!!!
Glad you like them!

You don’t need drivers for any apple device

If it's clipping, the gain and/or output need to be turned down.
So it should be the same with the ProFX6v3 right? You can find virtually no Info on how much ohm that headphone jack on there got on the web ^^
We have one coming in a couple weeks, but I would assume they are similar.

Unfortunately you need to go to a larger mixer if you want a PFL or solution for individual channel monitoring.
@@kettnercreative Thank you for replying. this mixer has great features but lacks what i need. problem is I'm past the return window period.

You need a headphone splitter out of the headphone jack
