21:36 PS 51 What an awesome truth of God's love and forgiveness! Written by David, a songwriter and King and sung throughout the millennia by countless souls crying out for mercy in repentance! I Love this version as much as I love the version by Keith Green - two totally different styles singing the same timeless truth! So glad I came upon this tonight - decades after first hearing it, it's still fresh and as powerful as ever!
Had the privilege of hearing Charlie Peacock trio (including the amazing left-us-too-young Vince Ebo) back in the day at Macalester College in St. Paul, MN. (1990?) Charlie went on to produce many artists' records and he opened Art Houses (if I recall the name) for aspiring bands and artists. I always felt that CCM has never appreciated his own talents enough -- their loss -- so I hope he found a home in Gospel (Black) or elsewhere. We love you Charlie and team.
Been listeninc to Christian music since the mid 80's and heard Charlie Peacocks name tossed around in my inner circle of friends. I didnt start listening to his music until the early 2000s. I don't know why it took me so long. Charlie Peacock makes it real. He reaches the soul like few others can. Thanks for the music.
I started listening to CCM in the early 90's & had 1 of his tapes but didn't listen to it much. This performance has inclined me to exploring him more.
Sadly, Vince Ebo took his own life a number of years ago. But that does nothing to lessen the impact his life and his music left on many of us. Especially for those who viewed this concert either, live or in rerun. One of the best CPT performances ever.
Me and two of my great friends liked sit down in front of this in the big screen with drinks and snacks at the end if the week or on a week end night. We called it church.
Looks like Sparrow Records was doing the whole "unplugged" thing before MTV with these Front Row videos. I'm not a big fan of the adult contemporary jazz-funk thing Charlie was doing musically at this point in time, so its really nice hearing his songs done in this stripped-down, barebones way. It gives them a beautiful rawness they just didn't have on record.
Vince Ebo was the best ever. The world is a dimmer place without him in it.
One of my faves…takes me back to when I was a young man…
Man this takes me back.
Middle of college days.

Charlie is a genius. Thanks for uploading, now I can throw out my VHS of this. Maybe.
Big man's hat is one of my all time favorites.
Good grief. This was the best thing i watched on UA-cam all year!

I had the great pleasure to serve these guys as tour manager and radio promoter in the 90s in Germany. Unforgettable!

I loved watching Vince Ebo in concert with Charlie and solo. I was mesmerized by his hands and how they showed the emotion of the music.
My mind played a trick on me.. brilliant..

Thanks for posting this. I was there! Caravan of Dreams in Ft Worth. The second act was Margaret Becker later the same night. Such a good memory.
I have this on VHS. Charlie, Jimmy, and Vince (RIP) what a trio!
Charlie and Jimmy A are great, but damn...Vince. :(
Beautiful ministry of Charlie Peacock and the musicians ❤ thank you for sharing it.
You can't tell one person from another
I could not love this any more than I do. Amazing.
Oh man, i saw this show in Gouda, the Netherlands. Long time ago, but still so good. Thanks for sharing!

I like the jazz-funk thing but I also like this...
Thank you, thank you, thank you for uploading this video. I discarded my VHS of it years ago, and am thrilled it's now here for us to enjoy.
Thank you for posting. I had the VHS of this and loved it. Brings back so many great memories. It is still has not lost anything. Love it, love it!
wow, wow, wow
soooo goood thx!
I can't imagine an artist like Charlie succeeding in today's sterile music industry.
Reminds me so much of Simply Red. Great video.
I didn't think Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael Card's concerts were too bad either. I never watched (was it) Twila Paris.
