I was lost when it started 😢😢
So much important info here! Next step is to quantify the quality of the separators and contact plates for a given pack. Knowing what makes a high quality separator vs a generic one could prove useful in anticipating “expected shelf life” relative to how the pack is being used. It’s hard to find this information as suppliers are generally not in the US, and there is often a language barrier when trying to articulate certain expressive words that get lost in translation. End game objective: I’d like to figure out what are the critical components of a cell that ultimately determine which packs will perform best under extreme sustain load.
True, I've never been able to have a conversation about battery specific details with a manufacture. These messages have always been ignored.
That went over my head 😅🙈
It takes a few goes. Chemistry can be tough.
I'm using 18650s in a 4s2p config for my RC car. Is this a terrible idea? I had them laying around.
If the cells can handle the load, it is fine. Check discharge rates and load.
Kermit!
One of these days I will break in to my best impression just for you!
Very complex theme for me.
And for me too!
