I hope Sunday Drive opens everyone’s eyes in this current slow down we are in in the world...I hope it lets everyone see how the moments we share with each other are all that matter and that all we have is this very moment and to make it count...no matter the situation...I hope everyone enjoys the song and if I could ask anything, just let it take you back to that place, don’t be afraid, ride off on that Sunday drive with your hand out the window and feel the air, and the life in your veins, it’s not here forever, but it’s here for now

Don’t count the days, make the days count. Live everyday as if it were your last. I learned those lessons real quick when I almost lost my mom at 15. Cherish your loved one and the relationship you have because you never know when they’ll be gone. Put down your phones, enjoy each other’s presents, and make memories together. I hope and pray nothing but the best for you Brett. You seem like a very deserving, humble, down to earth guy who deserves the world.

Two years ago today my husband of 54 years received his cancer diagnosis and died 33 days later. From our teenage years to his illness, we spent many an hour on country drives. Just us, then with the children. So many memories. I have missed those times together more than I ever thought I would. This song touched my heart so deeply. Thank you.

Hey Brett , I'm blown away by your courage in recording this song , the honesty and emotion is overwhelming, when i co wrote this i could only ever have dreamt that someone would understand how precious those Sunday drives were for me as a child . Eight girls and three boys and my Mum and Dad upfront , such happy and simple days i allowed myself a little poetic licence with the permission of my two wonderful co-writers to bring my Dad back in the last verse even though he had passed when i was still young but not too young to ever forget those wonderful days and the laughing and the singing and maybe a little arguing on the way back ! when we were all tired , this all happened in a small rural place in Ireland where all my family still live , and my Mother still smiling at 96 . I've been blessed in my career to have a lot of songs i've written and co -written end up on records but this is truly a gift , Thank you :) don

My parents used to take road trips with my brother and I when we were younger, down to North Carolina to see dad's family and Florida to see Mom's. We live in Michigan and I moved up to the upper peninsula four years ago for work. One of the last times they came up to visit, I took them to Lake of the Clouds. My mom desperately wanted to come visit me towards the end of 2019, but I talked her out of it because our snowfall and I didn't want her to get stuck north of the bridge. She and my dad caught COVID 19 in April of 2020. My dad survived, my mom did not. She was only 61 when she passed. This song had me bawling my eyes out by the end.

I know most people will not see this comment
But one of my aunts made a video with this song showing all the pictures of my grandma and grandpas history from when they were born up until now, and after seeing that video the song combined with their history was absolutely touching, I spent the rest of that night listening to this song just taking it in how long they have been here and how awesome my grandparents are, Just hearing this song reminds me of that video and It is always sad at the beginning for me but when you think about how long they have lived for and think about the things they have been though, wars, pandemics, economic crisis's, its amazing to think how it must feel making it to 80 years old.
For context this was played and my grandpas 80th birthday.
Even though this isn't completely related to the music, it perfectly fits because they would always take a drive after church on Sunday.
Thank you brett, I absolute loved this song and its such a touching masterpiece

Out on a Sunday drive. We will always be 25, we will never grow old, we will achieve all our dreams, everyone will love us. Out on a Sunday drive...75, grew old, a dream came true (not the one I thought), and some folks love us dearly, some folks don't. Out on a Sunday drive, my Granddaughter driving, my great-GRANDS holding my hand...Out on a Sunday drive. What a Wonderful World.

Thanks for Making Me Cry! WOW! Makes me Remember my Maternal Grandparents! My Grandmother would pack a picnic basket full of home made love! Her fried chicken, potato salad, deviled eggs and some other wonderful! We would stop at a picnic table on the side of the road after looking at the scenery thru the window and maybe hiking a bit to see a GOD made Wonder/Waterfall, sometimes it was a house made of bottles! Always remember the love we were able to feel on those Sunday Drives! Dang you, Brett! This Song is Beautiful!

I remember the great memories of going to my aunt's house on a Sunday drive. Tacos for dinner,RC cola and great memories of the family that I loved. Now you're singing 🎶 about my life in so many songs and reminding me how great it was. It's all gone now and I'm dying inside with the pain of my life disaster and a lot of things I never thought would happen.. My kids disappearing from my me and all still right here in my home town that they were born in. I love them so much unconditional love 💕 and hold Brett's songs so ready to play. Every day and night.
Thank you and your band for being a great blessing to me. I love you all. Good luck with the best of me to you.

This song really gives me goosebumps... Touches my heart. He's driving down the same roads that I drove down with my parents in Paris Illinois, when I was a boy. I went to Paris High School with Bretts parents years ago. I recognize all of the places as they pass them in the car. Twin lakes ....Since both of my parents are gone now the memories are the only thing that I have left. The memories of Paris Illinois a small boy, growing up there.

Just took a drive to Texas from St Louis. Went down thru Oklahoma and came back thru Arkansas and the whole trip was basically the scenes from this video. Took mostly state roads. 10 hours each way of Sunday drives.

I can't listen to this beautiful song without crying. My mum and dad used to always take me and my brother on little Sunday drives.
I found this song not long after my mum died in 2020 and it hit me right in the feels! I wish so much I could go on one last Sunday drive with them both again!! 😭😭
Edit: I just noticed this song was uploaded the day before my mum's last birthday, she passed a week later. 😭

I didn't have a good childhood most of the time. Through therapy, I have allowed myself to grow past the bad and allow myself to remember some of the good, which has lead me to live a happier adult life. Sunday drives were a happy memory and this song, describes one of these happy memories for me that I have buried for so many years. i can't get enough of this song. Although, i no longer have family to share this memory with, I'm cherishing the place this song brings me. Thank you!

This song hits home for me. I grew up not far from Paris. My younger years passed me by so fast. I wasn't as fortunate as you to have my Mom and Dad together past my 7th birthday. Cherish every moment. Thank you for this song. You deserve the best. Your work speaks for itself. Love the feature of PHS in the videos!

I'm a recent college grad who is just starting to live on their own. I can clearly remember the Sunday drives around suburbia, not going anywhere in particular. But it was the one weekend of the month that Mom wasn't on a business trip and my sister and I were at the house. Pile into the F-250 and just drive. Now I miss those drives, and the idea that my parents are getting to that point. Thank you Brett Eldredge for somehow putting this insanely complex emotion into words, and making those words relatable to an incredibly diverse audience.

I just heard this song. Oh, the memories! Mom is gone now but her and Dad were always holding hands when we went for drives. We didn't realize how precious that time was back then, but we are so grateful for the memories now. Thank you for recording this.

I love this song. My wife and I will hop in the car and just drive the backroads to Galveston and other small towns on a Sunday. I got choked up when the parents got to see the world through an open window. I also love the country squire station wagon in the video. The good ole days 😊

I just lost my mum in the last week. My dad and her used to take me out on Sunday drives loads when I was a kid... this video hits so much harder than it did when I listened to it on repeat three weeks ago. Treasure your parents, don't waste a moment. I never got to say goodbye before she left this world. I miss you, mum. Love you 3000....

Here we are, once again..... on a Sunday night watching this video. My wife Jennifer and I have had a new tradition for the last few weeks since finding this video of watching before bed. It's such a great reminder to cherish what we have in front of us. We love the simple life we have.....
Thank you to the writers of this song and for Mr. Eldredge bringing this song to life. What an inspirational message to us all. God Bless you all.
