This version is absolutely mindblowing! A vocal tour de force, so superly done! Full of emotions, vocal control and what a range! But this is SINATRA! 🔥
I totally concur and a shame he never did a studio recording of this song because of how well he sang it and you can tell he was really feeling this beautiful piece.
I’ve always thought Sinatra’s best years were 1946, 1957, 1970, and 1981. Thanks for uncovering another glimpse of the man in his prime! On a side note: you’re a gem in the Sinatraphile sphere. Even if you don’t fully know or feel how much we appreciate you, I promise you are. If there is some other way to prove that we love you, I swear we don’t know how :)
I can't say I have a favorite year for his specifically, but I do find the years you mentioned to be very prolific in terms of his career. I also appreciate the kind words.
A lot of it is entertaining but still needs a lot more work. I am hoping for someday the recreation with AI will be so spot on so they can make it do the songs Frank never got to perform.
@@TheSinatraCollectionHiii if you’re available i have a question pertaining to a lost Frank Sinatra radio performance recording. I would assume you knew what i was talking about because i have seen you comment on it so maybe when i describe it it’ll come to memory. So here we go…. It was uploaded to youtube, it was titled along something like “Frank Sinatra and Benny Goodman Sextet” i think it was titled with 1946 and in the beginning there was a advertisement for Old Gold Cigarettes and then Frank sung an opening of Night and Day. Now the real reason i care so much is the fact he then sings a song i can never find again. I’ve looked everywhere and that was the only recording of him singing it. It went like. “One more dream and she’s mine one more dream and she’s mine. Things looked fine then i ‘something’ down the line. One more dream and she’s mineee” of course there was more but that’s the most memorable lyric. The video also included a bit by the pied pipers singing about a train. Then there was a duet between Frank and Benny Goodman. The video was deleted after some time like maybe a less than a year ago. If you do or have any info on where i can relisten to this recording (assuming the uploader had to get the source from somewhere) could you please share it with me? I would appreciate it. I follow you on instagram and i could message you there as well. Thank you!!! If you don’t have any info then it’s okay.

Beautiful. The last note is something. Only Frank can be this exquisite. Thanks for posting this gem.
