It's pretty hard to learn a new weapon in high rank. Not like they're all great for turf war.
I don't play dynamo but I love it as a weapon because I get to feel something when I parry a dynamo flick.
I never really played Dynamo in Splatoon 1, but I mained the absolute hell out of the Dynamos in 2. These days, in 3, about 80% of the time I'm the Dynamo destroying their Dynamos. That's what a few years of practice will do though I guess.

I don't know why, but the sword one-shot direct always feels more satisfying to hit than any others in the entire game.
Probably because it takes so much risk to get close enough for a direct. It’s extremely satisfying to manage to get close enough to hit a direct, even more satisfying to survive.
I don’t know man. One shot reef lux is pretty satisfying contender.

Probably just a coincidence, cuz i feel like Stamper and Flingza have a ton of overlap, almost the same strengths but not as many of the weaknesses, ive always felt like Splatanas are just the same concept of the Rollers but more refined, i really hope they give some buffs to the rollers mannn. 😭

Also I felt for chara when he missed that charge slash. As someone for mains wiper I swear to god the slash where you go forward is so buggy it will just go in different directions

i hate being locked into an animation whenever i want to charge slash its genuinely the most annoying shit and has like. zero benefit in 90% of combat scenarios
charge slash for splatanas is pretty great once you learn to use it. using it as a mixup and flicking to change the direction of the projectile really enhances the gameplay imo. just got to make sure to not input it when you don’t want to
If you learn how to control charge slashes better its super useful, saved me a bunch of times

Started with Splatoon 3 and wanted to thank you (and Squid School) for the help bringing me up to speed on the game. Tri-Stringer and Stamper are my main; Stamper when solo and Tri-Stringer when I play anchor for my my Splatoon 1 vet wife. While I'm still struggling to find a Stringer streamer to watch, you videos on Stamper have been a godsend to learn little tricks and how to play.
Yooo I main Stringer and Stamper too. Oh also there’s a UA-camr called NBound that plays stringer however I don’t know if he still uploads/streams or not.

I’m a stamper main but I like using a variety of other weapons especially when playing with friends I tend to use dualie squelchers tentatek splatershot flingza and reef-lux

Literally last night, I played a round of Splat Zones, and the other team had an Ultra Stamp that wiped our entire squad.
Ultra Stamp is cracked in Solo Queue where a lot of people don't really know how to deal with it.

It's just the bell curve meme. Ranked starts as a death match, people start acutely start caring about the objective, then it just goes back to being a death match.
First round in the video perfectly encapsulates my frustration when my teammates suddenly decide to throw the game after the entire enemy team got wiped. That was one hell of a turnaround, though

It's because it's impossible to rank down in Splatoon, the pool of players in S+/X is unironically worse because people get carried to that rank and then coast there

You hearing that guy sharking was low key the biggest flex I've ever seen in gaming. Even ignoring the difficulty in physically hearing it, the headspace you'd need to be in to process that sound as relevant and take action because of it. How can you think like that? I hate that X is a separate rank. I can barely get out of S+1 but have to fight a team where 2 players have the Top 500 badge...
It was worse in splatoon 2 where the same thing happened except more often because players cojldnt choose

I keep saying that the design of the stamper looks a lot like the chainsword from Warhammer 40k, which is an absolutely crazy thing for this game to reference.
1:40 Something similar happened to me in Ranked (it was either S+ or X, can‘t remember). The enemy team was so focused on keeping us away from the Rainmaker, since we made it to the left checkpoint on Hagglefish Market. But one of my team members just popped the shield, took it, and ran straight for the goal and was only 1 point away from scoring. It was hilarious.
The ballpoint splatling has to be the Splatoon 2 version of Dynamo players. I feel like 90% of the rare ballpoint users in 3 have played 2 and they’re both weapons who used to have their golden days before being completely forgotten about but the players are still intensely loyal to it to this day.
