Just the type of review I was looking forward to. I just purchased the LifePod 1.0 Special Edition as a travel companion for my daily driver. It’s sleek & compact dimensions fits well beneath the passenger seat of my BMW sedan -Safely concealing an FN 509c, with a backup magazine. I bought the LifePod as a measuring stick to sample Vaultek’s quality & craftsmanship, all in hopes to acquire one of their larger models for my home. Very nice safe set up, custom closet, and firearms collection, & I can tell you have a nice home overall. I’m also a Ducati owner… -So kudos to class, & having exceptional taste. Stay safe my friend, and much respect to you!👊🏽💯
Thanks brother. Panigale 1199 (track bike) and 2011 Diavel in the stable. I have the Vaultek VS20i in my car bolted to rear seat too (cable locked as well to seat frame) when I need to leave in vehicle. Highly recommend that gun safe for vehicle travel as well.
@@jaymarucci1945 I’ll take a look at the VS20i. You should consider doing a video review. I’d definitely tune in. The Diavel is on my list, and I almost bought one a couple summers ago. I started with the 848 Evo, and currently enjoying the Panigale V2… Both in white! Your 1199 though…🔥🔥🔥 My wife scheduled me for a 4hr event to see a complete take down and reassembly of the V4 by Ducati engineers @ our local dealer here in Michigan, and sadly I got the dates mixed up and couldn’t make it. This was last month, and I’m still kicking myself!🤦🏽♂️
@@dopeboyp3487 I'll try to review that safe when I get a minute. I have a friend Anthony that lives outside of Detroit who had a 1st gen Diavel like mine. He gave me a Ducati Detroit hat and shirt when I came out to see him. He got into a scary accident on it though a few years ago and almost died. Stopped riding now. Was cutoff by another car getting off an off ramp. I have to reach out to him. Been a while. You may know him. Knows the local dealership crew there very well. Check out my channel for the track clips on the Pani. Home track for me is NJMP. Unfortunately the Diavel has been neglected the last few years since focused more on track riding which I'm OK with. That bike will never leave my side. Put too much into it. Your V2 is a very nice bike. 848 is a classic for sure but those bikes tended to have issues. More in the electronics. Stay tuned and thanks for reaching out
MXE installed yesterday by me..By far the nicest well made safe for pistols that I've ever owned. I have a Glock 21, 22, 36, Sig 365xl, and a M&P 380 in there. All my magazines and 90% empty shelf for more goodies pending. Pricy ...yes n no...in terms of how well made and handsome it is and easy to use it was worth it.
Bought both of my Vaultek safes on Amazon. They are not marked down or discounted no matter which seller you buy from. You can buy from Vaultek direct from their website too. If you are talking where to get the shelving system, they are sold at The Container Store.
Great idea mounting on the wall! Get a 90 degree micro-USB cable. It will hug tighter to the safe and be a cleaner install! What is the name of that shelving sysem?
The Container Store is the retail store. Elfa System is the closet system and they have different levels of wood shelving upgrades. My micro USB charge port is on the side where my ties are so not even visible. I really don't see any concern for anyone on that detail. I installed the outlet on the light switch and works great. I ran the charge wire so only visible for short length coming off the outlet but that's all.
I don't see why not. It's expandable soft ply foam. I have a tactical light /laser sight for my Sig SP2022 which I don't leave installed on the gun since I carry and adds more bulk. I'll try it but like I said I don't see a problem. I'd check on Vaultek site or reach out to them directly.

What’s up from New York. Picking one of these up second hand from a guy in Staten Island. Looks great in your space.

Could you please measure the distance from the bottom to the shelf? Trying to see if my full size 2011 with RDS will clear the shelf. Ty
Just ordered mine!
From where? I've been looking and i swear every site i see is sold out.
@@jeffmather728 The Vaultek site, only the wireless is currently in stock
I like your shelf, Can you guide to the right place to order these?

The container store? Is that where you got your closet set up from?

Can a lap top fit in?
What is the model number of the light switch/outlet combo you got from Amazon?
ENERLITES Switch and Outlet Combo, Combination Decorator Paddle Switch 15A/120VAC With Tamper-Resistant Receptacle Outlet 15A/125VAC, Residential/Commercial Grade, UL Listed, 68625-TR-LA, Light Almond a.co/d/aeA03kX
do the holders work with optics/lights?

And Vaultek is made where exactly? Their website doesn't admit where they are located. Suspicious.
