I verry rarely post comments but thought I would here because there is a missing step that was infuriating to find the answer.
For this process to work the phone must be connected by data/ charging table to a device. In my case a Windows 10 PC (no other devices/ OS confirmed)
This does not work just having it plugged in on charge to a wall power socket, it has to be to a PC otherwise the bootloader will not load and it just boots to the unlock screen over and over

It would help, but i have a completly black screen. Before that i had a rainbowy-groon-purple theme colour of my phone, but i didn't make it, i had a calculator opened, and randomly my phone started a raindowy screen, but i could see the icons, then i tried to make the lowest screen darkness, and it completly went to black, the touch isnt working, so i cant put the colours on, i tried to hard reset of the phone, but it isnt working (i think)

HOW TO GET THE SPECIAL SCREEN UP: Plug a USBC cable into your PC / Computer. Hold down Power and Volume Down until the phone goes black / shuts down. THEN Hold the Power and Volume Up Buttons until the Samsung A21s screen comes up then let go. Wait 5 seconds and the hard reset screen will come up.
