Great method for showing how to play a Tommy Emmanuel song. The repetition is well done. Your method gets right to the point. Many lesson videos are so frustrating to follow because of the incessant dialogue ,ex. "third finger on the second string of the third fret" Thank you for putting the time in to share . Excellent job!
Thank you So much for taking the time to post this. You are one of my favorite guitar teachers out there. I learned my first Tommy song (Duke) from on of your videos and managed to play it for my family members and move them to tears... Thank you for your contribution.
This is the best tutorial I've ever seen. It's also helpful that it's probably the hardest song I've tried to learn. I can't thank you enough. I'd pay for this.
Hi Akira, thank you for the great tutorial (all 4 parts of it!) for this amazing song. You explain it all in so much detail that it's becoming a pleasure to play quite quickly :-) Great job figuring out all Tommy's little tricks. Thanks for taking the time to share it with us!
That was great Akira. Can you do more lesson videos? I learned a great deal from your lesson. Maybe waiting for a plane and drive time would be really great. Thanks and great job
Sounds great, the way you slowed every thing down and went over it 10 times was very smart and made it much easier to understand what is exactly being played. I have seen many of your videos and they are great. I know you said you don't know waiting for a plane yet but please make some more lesson videos. I am inspired to play again so I need your help 😊 thanks again for the great lesson....more please
Hi, thanks for watching! I removed the pick guard. I heated up the pick guard area with a hairdryer and it easily came off. Yes, I agree that I like it without the pick guard on this model.
The glue melts by the heat so it doesn't damage the wood. I cleaned the residues by wiping with a soft cloth with lemon oil. It was easy to clean. There is a tan line, exactly the same shape as the pick guard. It's obvious under lights or daytime. But I kind of like it now.
We all appreciate you unselfishly taking the time to teach us this great music.....you are a true musician!

Why do people always ask for tabs, you can clearly see what he is doing!!
Thanks a lot man for the lesson!
Hey, very cool your clips. But can you make a TAB of this song? Like "one day", this is easy to learn. Gruß, Brettel :-)
how did you get the guitar without the pickguard? looks much better like this!
Hi, thanks for watching!

Akira808 The glue didn't scrape of the wood on the guitar? and it didn't had a "tan line"?

Any new lessons?
Tabs would help : /
