I love the way you handle this dog. Your voice is very calming and I luv the fact that you try and get the dog to rest his head in your hand opposed to other methods. You can groom my dog anyday. Very impressed by all the different supplies; scissors, combs etc. that you have. Great video.
Sophie is a very beautiful dog. I love her coat. Thanks for another great video. I really like the play session at the end. It's a nice ending to an excellent groom. I look forward to the next live groom.
Hello! I really like the way you teach. Taking your time, very smooth, very specific. Also your voice is calmer ☺️. The way you teach it help me to feel some what “ confident…since I just started to groom my Bishon Muffin❤ You are my favorite Groomer Teacher 🤗. Thank You
Good Afternoon Suzanne 😊💞 You truly are the BEST Groomer. 💯 the truth. Wish you were in New Jersey. Wishing you a beautiful blessed Sunday Suzanne. 🙏🤗💗🐩🐕🐶💗🥰
Hi Suzanne. I am a teddybear maker who is looking at getting a Havanese in the not too distant future so this video hit all the right buttons for me!! I must admit that teddy bears don't wriggle around quite so much, but you do have to be wary of pin attacks in their early build stages LOL!! I am getting a lot of tips for both bears and puppies so thank you for that. sofie is such a sweetheart, her owners should be so proud of her. Boofy.
Love the clip beautiful. I use a cordless andis and Aesculap cordless. I know I asked yesterday about the 7F in the private areas for females. Would the 7F be ok on these clippers?
Hello! Very nice video! Can you please list the different blades/lengths for the separate areas, and what the spray is that you use after the blow dry? And how do you suggest maintaining a shitzu/bichon coat to try and make it as beautiful as this dogs? Thank you!!
I will answer those questions when I have a chance to look at the video to be sure that I answer correctly. In the meantime, here are the tools links for this coat type. groomingsafer.com/blogs-by-breed%2Fcoat-type-1/f/the-best-tools-for-grooming-a-poodle-bichon-or-other-curly-coat
I used a 3 blade on the body, a 10 around the eyes and belly, a 40 on the pads, and scissored the rest. The spray was Artero mix. The care instructions are in the video itself, around the time stamp 6:30
Unfortunately, good clippers are expensive. I only recommend what I use, and they are high end. Go Groomers channel has a lot of videos and information about clippers and brands.
@@grandestyledoggrooming Aww.. thank you so very much Suzanne for answering my question I really appreciate it. Wishing you and your family a blessed evening🙏♥️♥️
I groom live all day every day. I groom the breeds that come in. Watch daily 10am till 4pm EST. Hopefully you will see something interesting that will help you.
Hey Suzanne, I wasn’t sure if I can ask you a question from this avenue, but was wondering if you have any opinion on using stripping powder around beards/mustaches when scissoring/shaping? I was thinking it would work to help shape, but wouldn’t it dull shears as well? And is it safe for the pup to use on face? (This was suggested to me to achieve face shape) Thanks and take excellent care of yourself ❤️
Only for broken coats, flat coats, wire coats, and other hand stripped types. I usually find that it's not comfortable for the dogs, and I will do it if it must be done for show or for coat types that will be ruined by clipping. If I can cheat with thinning shears, blending shears, or chunckers, I will, for the comfort of the dog. I am not a purist 🙂 And yes, all of my answers, I prefer here, so that others may learn. I am no longer on Facebook, or Instagram.

Hello Mary
I have a Golden and a Maltipoo that I want to groom. Are there any clippers that don’t cost a fortune? Which do you suggest? Thank you!
Unfortunately, good clippers are expensive. I only recommend what I use, and they are high end. Go Groomers channel has a lot of videos and information about clippers and brands.
Beautiful
Wish my Maltipoo would be this well behaved, calming chews does nothing for my baby boy
Thank you

Always shaved pads and clipped nails with my Maltese on their backs. Only way they would tolerate it.

Yes
----😘 Suzanne have there been times when some new groomers make a mistake?
Of course. This is why I could never run a training program. Wiggly dogs and razor sharp tools 😬

Hello Toi Maker.
