Having divorced parents who got stationed in multiple in different places gave me a pretty cool experience growing up. I've been to almost every state in the US and have lived in multiple states twice. I think growing up in the same place only to stay there your whole life sounds boring, plus traveling opens you up to new cultures.

I would also recommend finding a way to do a long drive across the western half of the country. My favorite highway is Steens Mountain Highway in southeastern Oregon, just make sure the weather is good.
Or if you want beautiful small American towns, Vermont and New Hampshire. For meeting the friendliest Americans, probably north Texas.

I live in the southeastern portion in a rural town. I'm a different breed of Coloradan, but yeah, I'm thin, lol. No drugs. I have an exercise routine and practice portion control.
I'm currently staying in southwestern Texas. The rural community is similar, but it's mostly Mexican-American rather than the mostly white and some "white Hispanic" population at home. Rural US is culturally similar depending on the region.
Urban and mountain town Colorado are significantly different than the rest of Colorado. I still drink kombucha and visit a yearly New Age festival though because nothing is 100%.

Connecticut was actually first mentioned in an Eminem skit titled “Ken Kaniff (skit)” on the Slim Shady LP, where Ken places a collect call to Eminem under his full name “Kenneth Kaniff, from Conneticut, automated piece of shit”. The name is quite long and of seemingly noreastern indigenous heritage. Even tho Mr. Kaniff’s name seems to claim direct descent from a land called “Connecticut” this is most likely a poetic metaphor for “the land where one lays one’s head”, as you’re correct….Connecticut doesn’t exist. Similar in concept to Agartha.
As someone from Massachusetts I can indeed confirm Connecticut does not exist. Just like Wyoming. These states are ancient myths.

In the early 2000s, when I was still a child, my father had the opportunity to go to live in Georgia, but he remained in Moscow. I think he was not ready for such a step as moving overseas. I don’t know how it would have been, but I know for sure that it would have been different. I regret that he did not do this, because ultimately in 2014 we had to go to live in Bulgaria. I would like to know an alternative history of my life.
Moving to Georgia would’ve been a good choice, it’s a nice state as opposed to the others, relatively peaceful and nothing really happens.
